The Democratic Party has officially weighed in with a new party platform that delivers a healthy dose of pro-abortion, pro-homosexual propaganda. The party that so often preaches tolerance apparently has no tolerance for the more than seventy percent of Americans who believe marriage ought to remain the union of one man and one woman, and neither do they have any tolerance for people who believe that abortion kills an innocent human life. Key elements of the Democratic platform include endorsing radical anti-AIDS initiatives and other programs that encourage promiscuity, calling for the passage of "thought crimes" legislation, dropping the "Don't Ask/Don't Tell" policy in favor of full inclusion for open homosexuals in the military, and defeating the marriage protection amendment. It appears that more and more the Democratic Party is running to the Left while Americans are leaning to the Right. The question is whether the Republican Party, which is the primary beneficiary of conservatives' votes, will produce a platform and a convention speaker line-up that will counter the pro-abortion, pro-homosexual policies favored by the Democrats. What does the law say about this situation? Does he just want to kill me or is he going to kill my significant other? Is it really fair to assume that I have children? If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my partner get away and call the police? This is all so confusing! Surely this question would be better answered by a focus group.
THE RIGHT ANSWER: Warn the offender then shoot the offender! Then take your family to the baseball game, sing the national anthem, eat some hot dogs and apple pie, and thank the Lord for one more day of freedom.

Fiscal responsibility means tax more to spend more for a bigger socialist government that controls more. Tax more to support unethical organizations: Americans are taxed more than 47% of their wages. Democrats continue to block Social Security and Medicare reform and continue to rob from these programs to fund pork barrel projects, like $4million to study gambling, $15million to study the Northern Lights, support liberally biased NPR and PBS "public" broadcastings, support unethical art under NEA, etc.,  all anti-Christian. Double taxation: Liberals fought the repeal of H.R. 122, President Clinton's 85% tax on Social Security benefits and want to keep the Inheritance Tax from being abolished. This allows money that was already taxed by income, property, capital gains, and interest taxes, to be taxed yet again. Liberals are trying to accomplish what King George could not. Yet this simple concept -- a concept that even your four-year-old can grasp -- seems to be lost on proponents of the welfare state. Recent research from the Cato Institute has made it clear that welfare does anything but help the poor. For years, we've been subsidizing unemployment, out-of-wedlock births, and lack of savings. Billions and billions of dollars later, we have more -- MORE -- of the same. Remember -- you get more of what you subsidize. Welfare, after all, pays better than some jobs. It punishes saving, and it removes many of the financial incentives to prevent pregnancies outside of marriage. Of course, if we're willing to put some more thought into the issue, we discover the problem is even worse. Welfare money doesn't grow on trees; it comes from taxes, and taxes on investment prevent the creation of new jobs. The point here is simple: Leftists may clamor about being compassionate to the poor and wanting to tax the rich. But in reality, the Left's socialist policies do far more harm than good. 5. Democrats support Forced Union Dues. Labor Union Bosses in their pursuit of more power, have our liberal "representatives" no longer representing their constituents, but instead supporting those who fund their campaigns with the forced Union Dues against the wishes of 77% of Union workers. As a DNC "Rules of Engagement" Memo stated: "When the DNC and its partners, including...the AFL-CIO and the National Education Association agree on the contents of a plan, each national partner will give their funding commitment to the state." As in 1996, the AFL spent $35million from its general treasury, funded by forced union workers' dues to help Democrats. Unions force American workers to fund political activities they disagree with. by Ron Nehring - (Excerpt) While parties rely on voluntary donations to fund their activities, labor unions benefit from laws, regulations and court precedents that help to transfer billions of dollars each year from workers to accounts controlled by labor's politically active (and left-wing) leadership. Yet "workplace" appears to be an expansive term. Since the 1960s--and especially since the mid-1990s, when John Sweeney took over at the AFL-CIO--unions have diverted more and more money to politics and policy. Union officials claim that they are merely representing the interests of their members. But which members? Each year millions of Republican workers are forced to watch as part of their earnings go to candidates they would never vote for at the ballot box. While fewer than half of America's union members are Democrats, more than 90% of union political action supports Democrats. How can this be? Why don't union members do something about it? Most workers, for instance, are not aware that they may refuse to join a union (exercising their so-called Beck and Hudson rights). And the AFL-CIO has recently waged a stiff legal battle against attempts by the Labor Department to make union finances more transparent and publicly detailed. 6. Democrats & Government Education or Indoctrination? Since the 1920's America's Christian Heritage has been stripped from education.  It cannot be denied that our Founding Fathers established the 13 Colonies based first on a Christian-based society, second on an economic enterprise, and lastly on a political commonwealth governed by biblical standards. Vouchers and votes by Thomas Sowell (10/15/2003) During a recent visit to Washington, I was told by a high official there that he had posed this question to Democrats: "Why are you so opposed to vouchers?" The reply: "We aren't going to give you guys (Republicans) a victory." One of the tragedies of the public schools is that they have become so enmeshed in bureaucratic rules and constrained by court decisions that they can do little to prevent a handful of classroom clowns and hoodlums from making it virtually impossible to educate other students in many ghetto schools. Nor can public schools get rid of even a grossly incompetent teacher without administrative and legal processes that can drag on forever and cost tens of thousands of dollars. Public schools are also trapped in rigid hiring rules that keep out highly qualified people who have not suffered through enough mind-numbing education courses to be called "certified." Private schools, and to some extent charter schools, escape these rigidities. Teachers' unions and others in the education establishment say that it is "unfair" that public schools have to compete with other institutions that do not have these and other bureaucratic and legal handicaps. Fairness applies to people. Institutions are just means to an end -- serving people. If other institutions can get the job done better, then that is the way to go. Maybe vouchers and charter schools can give teachers' unions incentives to try to free the public schools from their handicaps, instead of trying to impose the same handicaps on other schools, in the name of "fairness." Democrats eroding U.S. Sovereignty:  The ultimate goal of this orchestrated socialist agenda: "national sovereignty would be gradually eroded until it is no longer an issue" and a One World Government is established. The U.S. Constitution would be abolished for the United Nations Charter.  Relinquishing America's sovereignty for "global citizenship." Lowering the American Flag and raising the UN Flag. Liberals have no regard for the U.S. Constitution, our Founding Fathers, or America's Sovereignty. Their goal is World Socialism under the deceptive agenda of the United Nations, which will replace the U.S. Constitution with the UN Charter.  Democrats place the United Nations above Americans, as they have previously exhibited favoring the UN Charter over the U.S. Constitution and the First and Second Amendments (Hate Crimes Legislation and Gun Rights). This is also evident from their support if the International Criminal Court (ICC). The ICC would alter the US criminal system and capital punishment to that of the ICC. The ICC essentially eliminates U.S. sovereignty by abolishing the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.  UN Court Orders Halt to Executions in Texas, Oklahoma London (CNSNews.com) - The top U.N. court has previously ordered the United States to stay the executions of three Mexicans while judges consider a case that could have implications for more than 50 death row inmates. Mexico sued the U.S. government in the International Court of Justice, alleging that 51 of its citizens currently on death row in nine U.S. states were deprived of their right of access to consular officials... Bill Clinton, in his last days in office signed the ICC treaty which would give away our U.S. sovereignty. On April 11, 2002 when the ICC treaty became law, which could A. Make all of us criminals -- the police arm of the ICC would have the power to arrest (without warrant or due process) any citizen for any violation they name.   Charges of "crimes against the environment" could be levied against land developers, or even just someone building their "dream home." B. All our military actions would have to be first approved by the U.N., or our soldiers could be prosecuted for war crimes and "crimes of aggression." Our military actions in Granada or Panama, for instance, could be deemed criminal. C. We would loose our Bill of Right protections, like the requirements for a search warrant, trial by jury, and a speedy trial, when charged by the ICC. D. Loose protection against "double jeopardy," being tried for the same crime twice, would be gone.  The ICC can try someone over and over until they get the result they want. And there is no appeal. On May 6, 2002, President Bush formally renounced Bill Clinton's world court agreement. Keep in mind that the UN Security Council is not elected, is not a limited form of government, and is not a republic with three branches of government with checks and balances. I challenge any Democrat to go on the record and dispute these claims. This issue alone is worthy of any vote, if we are looking out for our descendents.
8. Democrats appear to be subjects to the UN, not America. Democrats support the unelected officials of the United Nations when they support the ICC, ITO, CEDAW, UNFPA, the Brahimi Doctrine, etc. which makes the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and Bill of Rights obsolete. Democrats also promote Gaia as a New World Religion, because it is the prevailing religion of the unelected officials of the United Nations. Democrats violate the Constitution by applying pro-Abortion litmus test for judicial nominations and Judicial Filibusters to keep conservative fair-minded justices from being accepted onto the bench. Patrick Leahy is an example by keeping at least 8 nominees waiting more than 400 days. Continuing to vote for Democrats assures that only a very few ultra-liberals in the Senate Judiciary Committee will maintain the power over the will of the people by  preventing "well qualified" nominees like Judge Charles Pickering or M. Estrada, from getting a full vote in the Senate. Unlike President Clinton who had over 300 Judges confirmed. Backed by Ted and Hillary these plans would give up our right to choose our own doctor, have us pay higher taxes for the health care of illegal immigrants, abortions, and distribution of condoms to our youth, and have our private medical records read and judged by government bureaucrats, plus wait in long lines for medical treatments, and pay more for prescription drugs, all towards their socialistic agenda of "re-distribution of wealth." Democrats want to capitalize on the health care issue by imposing Canadian-style price-controls on drugs in the United States. If they succeed, we will end up with Canadian-style access to medicines.
