How does this compare with the Republic America's Christian Founders established, where all religions and secularists were granted liberty, because Biblical moral virtue was prominent?

Now with progressive political correctness prominent, unrighteous justice and tolerance without boundaries is diminishing freedom for Marxism, which will allow Islam to easily conquer.

FP: Pamela Geller, welcome to Frontpage Interview. Well, perhaps for those who are familiar with your work and with your book, it is not a big surprise for them that Obama has endorsed a role for the Muslim Brotherhood in a new, post-Mubarak government for Egypt. I would like to narrow in with you today about the Muslim Brotherhood’s penetration of the Obama administration. What can you tell us about this Islamist penetration of the White House?

Geller: Thanks Jamie. The first thing we need to realize is that the Muslim Brotherhood operates in the United States under a variety of names and organizational umbrellas. Technically, there is no “Muslim Brotherhood” in the United States. But the Muslim American Society (MAS), the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and others are – according to a document captured in a raid and released by law enforcement in 2007 during the Holy Land Foundation Hamas funding trial) – Brotherhood-linked organizations. FP: Right, and crystallize for us why we need to be concerned about Brotherhood-linked organizations in the U.S. Geller: Because, Jamie, that same captured document explains that the Muslim Brotherhood’s mission in the U.S. is “a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

FP: And people with ties to these organizations are involved with the Obama Administration, right?

Geller: Yes they are, Jamie, in various ways. On the first day of his presidency, the President showed an eagerness to be friendly toward the Brotherhood: he chose Ingrid Mattson, president of ISNA to offer a prayer at the National Cathedral during inaugural festivities on January 20, 2009.

...FP: Ok, let us move on. Tell us more about the Muslim Brotherhood presence in the Obama Administration.

Geller: In June 2009, Obama appointed a Muslim, Kareem Shora, to the Homeland Security Advisory Council. Shora had been executive director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, a group that had generally opposed anti-terror efforts since 9/11 – as have all the Muslim Brotherhood-linked groups in the U.S. But more worrisome was Obama’s appointment of another Muslim, Arif Alikhan, to be Assistant Secretary for Policy Development at the Department of Homeland Security. Alikhan is affiliated with the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), which is another highly deceptive Brotherhood-linked group.

Egypt’s Muslims attend Coptic Christmas mass, serving as ‘human shields’ By Michael Ireland Chief Correspondent, ASSIST News Service CAIRO, EGYPT (ANS) -- Muslims turned up in droves for the Coptic Christmas mass Thursday night (Jan.6), offering their bodies, and lives, as “shields” to Egypt’s threatened Christian community. Yasmine El-Rashidi, writing online for http://english.ahram.org.eg  says that amidst clashes and threats, Copts feel marginalized in the Egyptian elections. El-Rashidi says that from the well-known to the unknown, Muslims had offered their bodies as “human shields” for last Thursday night’s mass, making a pledge to collectively fight the threat of Islamic militants and towards an Egypt free from sectarian strife. She states that: “We either live together, or we die together,” was the sloganeering genius of Mohamed El-Sawy, a Muslim arts tycoon whose cultural center distributed flyers at churches in Cairo Thursday night, and who has been credited with first floating the “human shield” idea. ...

9175 Dead Worldwide, Happy New Year! by Gadi Adelman - Now that 2010 is over the numbers are in. According to the Religion of Peace website here are the numbers for the year 2010:   Total Islamic terror attacks: 1987. Total dead: 9175. Total of critically injured: 17436. Islamism is a Threat Posing as a Religion by Mervyn F. Bendle - The political ideology of Islamism is something that freedom-loving people should challenge at every opportunity, lest they forever lose their own liberty. This is the central message of an important new report released by the Center for Security Policy in Washington DC. Entitled Shariah: The Threat to America: An Exercise in Competitive Analysis - Report of Team B II (pdf), the study is the product of an extended period of research, analysis and debate, undertaken by a large team of security policy experts, which seeks to re-orientate American national security policy regarding the Islamist danger. In doing so it focuses on the core of Islam, its system of law, or "shariah", conceptualised as a totalitarian ideology akin to communism, Nazism and fascism, and pursued by Muslim supremacists who seek "to impose ... a global totalitarian system cloaked as an Islamic state and called a caliphate" (p.6).     The report emphasises that the extremely aggressive Islamist campaign of "civilizational jihad" is not entitled to constitutional protection because it is not primarily a religious pursuit involving "the sacrosanct realm of private conscience and belief", but is a political project that "seeks to supplant our Constitution with its own totalitarian framework" governing every area of life (p.8).

Muslim Mafia gives itself away by Joseph Farah - When the Council on American-Islamic Relations decided to sue the people of Oklahoma for approving an amendment to their constitution prohibiting the use by state courts of international law or Islamic Shariah law, the Muslim Brotherhood front and terrorist-linked darlings of the U.S. media gave themselves away. CAIR has billed itself as a "civil rights" organization and a kind of anti-defamation league for Muslims. In fact, courts in the U.S. have already used Shariah law in their decisions – some of which have been graciously overturned. It's also worth mentioning that several members of the current U.S. Supreme Court have commented favorably on the notion of citing international or foreign law in their decisions – and some of them already have.

Mahmud in A Short History of Islam states: After the Meccans, the first people to give trouble were the Jews in Medina and its neighborhood. Not only did they openly scoff at the Prophet's teachings, but they conspired against the Muslims. They were a united people and rich. The Prophet had to organize a number of ghazwahs (holy wars) against them before they were subdued...the Prophet turned on the Jews and taught them a severe lesson" (Mahmud, A Short History of Islam, p17).

What was the "severe lesson"? The "lesson" was the enslavement of all women and children, the dividing as spoils of all property, and the beheading of all males who had reached puberty. The following narrative gives a concise account of the bloodshed: Then the apostle went out to the market of Medina (which is still its market today) and dug trenches in it. Then he sent for them and struck off their heads in those trenches as they were brought up to him in batches. Among them was the enemy of Allah Huyayy son of Akhtab and Ka'b son of Asad their chief. There were 600 or 700 in all, though some put the figure as high as 800 or 900. As they were being taken out in batches to the apostle they asked Ka'b [ed. their ruler] what he thought would be done with them. He replied, 'Will you never understand? Don't you see that the summoner never stops and those who are taken away do not return? By Allah it is death!' This went on until the apostle made an end of them (Ibn Ishaq, 464). We do not know how many men Muhammad personally beheaded, but we know beyond doubt that they were all beheaded at his order.

Mosque of conquest? Exclusive: William Federer shares many examples from Islam's history of subjugation

Muslim groups are proposing a 13-story $100 million mosque in the most prominent spot in America – the heart of downtown New York City near the World Trade Center site.

Is this mosque a sign of America's tolerance, or is it a sign of Muslim conquest?

The past may hold answers:

In 630, Muhammad led 10,000 Muslim soldiers into Mecca and turned the pagans' most prominent spot, the Ka'aba, into the Masjid al-Haram Mosque.

In 634, Rightly Guided Caliph Umar conquered Syria and turned the Christians' most prominent spot, the Church of Job, famous for being visited by Saint Silva in the fourth century, into the Mosque of Job.

In 637, Caliph Umar conquered Hebron and turned the second-most prominent spot in Judaism, the Cave of the Patriarchs, into the Ibrahimi Mosque. (This was repeated by Saladin in 1188.)

In 638, Muslim generals Amr ibn al-As and Khalid ibn al-Walid conquered Gaza and turned the prominent fifth-century Byzantine church into the Great Mosque of Gaza.

In 638, Caliph Umar conquered Jerusalem. In 691, Caliph Al-Malik ordered the Dome of the Rock built on the most prominent spot in Judaism, the Temple Mount, followed by Caliph Al-Walid building the Al-Aqsa Mosque there in 705.

In 651, Muslims conquered Persia and turned Zoroastrian temples in Bukhara and Istakhr into mosques.

In 706, after Muslims took Damascus from the Byzantine Empire, Caliph Al-Walid turned the prominent Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist into the Umayyad Mosque.

In 710, Gen. Muhammad bin Qasim conquered Pakistan, defiled the prominent Sun Temple in Multan, which house the great idol "sanam," and erected a mosque.

In 784, after the conquest of Spain, Emir Abd ar-Rahman turned the prominent Visigothic Christian Church of Saint Vincent into the Great Aljama Mosque of Cordoba.

After the conquest of Egypt, Caliphs al-Mamun (813-833) and al-Hakim (996–1021) turned prominent Coptic Christian churches and Jewish synagogues in Cairo into mosques.

In 831, Muslims conquered Palermo, Sicily, and Asad ibn al-Furat turned the prominent Church of Saint Mary of the Assumption into the Great Mosque of Bal'harm.

In 1193, Muslims conquered Delhi, India, and Qutbuddin Aibak turned the Red Citadel in Dhillika, the most prominent spot of the last Hindu rulers, into the Qutb Minar Mosque.

From 1250-1517, Mamluk Muslims controlled the Golan Heights and used the ancient Synagogue of Katzrin as a mosque.

In 1387, Turkish Muslims conquered Thessaloniki and turned the Katholikon Monastery and the Church of Aghia Sophia, which housed the relics of Saint Gregorios Palamas, into mosques, as Symeon of Thessaloniki recorded:

"The greatest number of the buildings of the churches fell to them, of which the first was the Holy Church of the Savior. … These were trampled underfoot and the infidels rejoiced in them. … Most of the religious buildings in the city were despoiled, while altars were demolished and sacred things profaned."

On May 29, 1453, Sultan Mehmet II conquered Constantinople and turned the great Byzantine church, Hagia Sophia, into the Ayasofya Mosque. The largest church in Christendom for a thousand years, the church's four acres of gold mosaics were covered with whitewash and Quran verses.

In 1458, Sultan Mehmet II conquered Athens and turned the Greeks' most prominent spot, the Parthenon on Acropolis hill, into a mosque. When Venetian Gen. Francesco Morosini drove the Muslims out in 1687, a cannonball hit the gunpowder stored in the mosque, blowing it up.

In the 15th century, Ottoman invaders turned Saint Clement's Macedonian Orthodox Monastery in Plaosnik, Balkans, into the Imater Mosque.

From 1519-1858, Muslim Mughal rulers gained control of India and turned over 2,000 Hindu temples into mosques, including demolishing the Temple of Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Rama, and replacing it with the Babri Mosque.

India's Mughal Muslim ruler, Jahangir (1605-1627), wrote in Tujuk-i-Jahangiri:

"At the city of Banaras a temple. … I made it my plea for throwing down the temple … and on the spot, with the very same materials, I erected the great mosque."

In 1543, Hayreddin Barbarossa's 30,000 Muslim troops wintered in Toulon, France, and turned the prominent Toulon Cathedral into a mosque.

In 1570, under Sultan Selim II Khan, Muslims conquered Paphos, Cyprus, and Gov. Mehmet Bey Ebubkir turned the prominent Christian church into the Great Mosque of Paphos.

In 1571, Muslims invaded Famagusta, Cyprus, and turned Saint Nicolas Cathedral, a rare Gothic church, into the Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque, and Saint Sophia Cathedral in Nicosia, constructed in 1228, into the Selimiye Mosque.

In 1588, Sultan Murat III turned the Eastern Orthodox Church of Saint John the Forerunner in Constantinople into the Hirami Ahmet Pasha Mosque.

In 1781, after having conquered the Old City of Acre, Ottoman Muslims turned the Roman Catholic church built by Crusaders into the Jezzar Ahmet Pasha Mosque, where a hair from Muhammad's beard is preserved.

In 1923, Muslims expelled Greeks from Turkey and turned Orthodox churches into mosques.

In World War II, Nazis allied with Bosnians and turned the prominent Artists' Gallery Museum in Zagreb, Croatia, into a mosque.

In the 1950s, Muslims expelled Jews from Arab lands and turned synagogues into mosques.

Algerian Muslims warred against French colonial rule till France pulled out in 1962, after which the Cathedral of St. Philippe was turned into the Ketchaoua Mosque. Violence against Jews caused 30,000 to flee and the Great Synagogue of Oran was turned into the Mosque Abdellah Ben Salem.

In 1974, Turkish Muslims invaded northern Cyprus, and prominent Greek Orthodox churches were turned into mosques.

In 1981, Muslim immigrants to the Netherlands converted Amsterdam's historic Catholic Sint-Ignatiuskerk into the Fatih Mosque, and a synagogue in The Hague into the Aksa Mosque.

On Sept. 11, 2001, Muslim terrorists attacked the most prominent spot in America, the World Trade Center. In less than 10 years, the number of mosques in New York City has skyrocketed to over 140.

In light of history, reasonable citizens have a right to question if the mosque proposed at Ground Zero is a sign of America's tolerance, or a sign of Muslim conquest?

Thomas Jefferson and the Ground Zero Mosque By Gary DeMar - Speaking Friday August 13, 2010, at a White House dinner to honor Ramadan, the President told his audience, “Muslims have the right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country,” an obvious reference to the controversy surrounding the Ground Zero mosque. On Saturday, while spending the day in the Gulf, the president attempted to clarify his earlier remarks: “I was not commenting and I will not comment on the wisdom of making the decision to put a mosque there. I was commenting very specifically on the right people have that dates back to our founding. That’s what our country is about.” Utah’s attempts at statehood were held up over the religious practice of polygamy. It wasn’t until Utah agreed to include in its constitution a ban on polygamy that the territory was considered for statehood. Statehood was officially granted on January 4, 1896. Prior to Utah’s statehood, the Supreme Court had ruled that “Bigamy and polygamy are crimes by the laws of all civilized and Christian countries”[1] and “the spread and practice of polygamy is . . . . contrary to the spirit of Christianity and of the civilization which Christianity has produced in the Western world.”[2] So contrary to President Obama, it’s not true that all people have “the right to practice their religion.” The First Amendment does not give unlimited freedom to individuals or groups who act in the name of religion, especially when that religion’s goal is the domination of the world or even a part of it by force.

...President Obama and other supporters of the Ground Zero Mosque appeal to our nation’s “founding,” in particular Thomas Jefferson. Here are some additional comments the President made on August 14 in reference to Jefferson: And tonight, we are reminded that Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity. And Ramadan is a reminder that Islam has always been a part of America. The first Muslim ambassador to the United States, from Tunisia, was hosted by President Jefferson, who arranged a sunset dinner for his guest because it was Ramadan—making it the first known iftar[4] at the White House, more than 200 years ago.

First, Islam is not noted for its religious diversity. Christians cannot evangelize in Muslim countries. Churches are burned while police do nothing. Muslims who convert to another religion can be executed. Even the presence of the Bible is prohibited by our own military and the behest of Islamic officials when American soldiers are deployed in Muslim nations: Bibles were confiscated and destroyed after Qatar-based Al Jazeer television showed soldiers at a Bible class on a base with a stack of Bibles translated into the local Pashto and Dari languages. The U.S. military forbids its members on active duty—including those based in places like Afghanistan—from trying to convert people to another religion. Reuters quotes Maj. Jennifer Willis at the Bagram Air Base, north of Kabul, who said “I can now confirm that the Bibles shown on Al Jazeera’s clip were, in fact, collected by the chaplains and later destroyed. They were never distributed.”[5]

Second, President Obama’s favorable appeal to Jefferson is only part of the story. The Koran’s peace initiatives are Orwellian: “Submission to Islam is peace.” Peace is the absence of any religious or political opposition. This is the indisputable history of Islam as Paul Johnson writes: Koranic teaching that the faith or “submission” can be, and in suitable circumstances must be, imposed by force, has never been ignored. On the contrary, the history of Islam from Arabia was followed by the rapid conquest of North Africa, the invasion and virtual conquest of Spain, and a thrust into France that carried the crescent to the gates of Paris. It took half a millennium or reconquest to expel the Moslems from Western Europe. The Crusades, far from being an outrageous prototype of Western imperialism, as is taught in most of our schools, were a mere episode in a struggle that has lasted 1,400 years and were one of the few occasions when Christians took the offensive to regain the “occupied territories” of the Holy Land.[6]

What did Jefferson learn from his study of the Koran? As early as 1786, Jefferson, who was serving as the ambassador to France, and John Adams, the Ambassador to Britain, met in London with Ambassador Abdrahaman, the Dey of Tripoli’s ambassador to Britain, in an attempt to negotiate a peace treaty based on Congress’ vote of funding. Peace would come at a price. If America wanted “temporary peace,” a one-year guarantee, it would cost $66,000 plus a 10% commission. “Everlasting peace” was a bargain at $160,000 plus the obligatory commission. This only applied to Tripoli. Other Muslim nations would also have to be paid. The amount came to $1.3 million. But there was no assurance that the treaties would be honored. In vain Jefferson and Adams tried to argue that America was not at war with Tripoli. In what way had the U.S provoked the Muslims, they asked? Ambassador Abdrahaman went on to explain “the finer points of Islamic jihad” to the Koranically challenged Jefferson and Adams. In a letter to John Jay, Jefferson wrote the following:The Ambassador answered us that it was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman [Muslim] who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.[7]

Abdrahaman was paraphrasing the Koran’s “rules of engagement” found in the 47 Surah: “Whenever you encounter the ones who disbelieve [during wartime], seize them by their necks until once you have subdued them, then tie them up as prisoners, either in order to release them later on, or also to ask for ransom, until war lays down her burdens.” Unless a nation submitted to an Islamic nation, whether it was the aggressor or not, that nation was by definition at war with Islam. Jihad means “to submit.” A non-aggressing nation is still at war with Islam as long as it hasn’t embraced Islam. Islam’s goal is to conquer the world, either by the submission of one’s will or by Allah’s sword.[8]

When President Jefferson refused to increase the tribute demanded by the Islamists, Tripoli declared war on the United States. A United States navy squadron, under Commander Edward Preble, blockaded Tripoli from 1803 to 1805. After rebel soldiers from Tripoli, led by United States Marines, captured the city of Derna, the Pasha of Tripoli signed a treaty promising to exact no more tribute. President Obama is not the first person who has tried to whitewash Islam’s history with America. Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), a Muslim, took his constitutional oath on Jefferson’s copy of the Koran. How ironic given Jefferson’s disdain for Islam’s principles. There’s a reason the “Marines’ Hymn” begins with these words: From the Halls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli. The line “To the shores of Tripoli” refers to the First Barbary War, specifically the Battle of Derne in 1805. Jefferson, embroiled in a war with Islamic terrorists in his day, commented, “Too long, for the honor of nations, have those Barbarians been suffered [permitted] to trample on the sacred faith of treaties, on the rights and laws of human nature!”[9] Little has changed since Jefferson’s day. John Quincy Adams versus Maureen Dowd by Alan Caruba - (Sunday, August 22, 2010) As this is being written, two rallies are being held in the pouring rain in New York, just outside the proposed site of the Ground Zero mosque. One represents people opposed to it and one with people who see no problem whatever in an Islamic house of worship a few steps from where Muslims, in the name of Islam, destroyed the Twin Towers and killed some 3,000 people.

That pretty much tells you how a particular mindset can either resist evil or fall victim to it. Some might say that “evil” is too strong a word with which to describe Islam, but let me take you back to 1830 and quote John Quincy Adams, the sixth president of the United States. Referring to Muhammad, he wrote:

He poisoned the sources of human felicity at the fountain, by degrading the condition of the female sex, and the allowance of polygamy; and he declared undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his religion, against all the rest of mankind. The essence of his doctrine was violence and lust; to exalt the brutal over the spiritual part of human nature. Between these two religions, thus contrasted in their characters, a war of twelve hundred years has already raged. The war is yet flagrant...While the merciless and dissolute dogmas of the false prophet shall furnish motives to human action, there can never be peace upon the earth, and good will towards men.” ...

Is Sharia Law Inevitable in the West and America? Daniel Greenfield - Western liberals believe that most Muslims are moderate. Most Muslims, however, believe that the remedy for all social, political and moral ills lies in Islam. A believing Muslim, whether Westerners consider him an extremist or a moderate, will believe that Islam and the Koran have the solution for all of society's ills. Social problems are caused by a lack of Islam. In his worldview, Muslim countries can only repair their problems through Islam. And non-Muslim countries in the Dar al Kufr (Realm of the Infidels), Dar Al Harb (Realm of the Sword) are bound to be even worse off because they don't follow Islamic law – which means their only solution is Islam. In such a scenario, Sharia is inevitable because as Western liberals think of social reforms in terms of added government control, Muslims think of reform as added clerical control. Muhammad: Leader of change - Muhammad immigrated to Medina as a religious leader. When his followers increased in number, he changed to a political leader. When his followers were wronged, he changed to a military leader. Five years after immigrating, the civilization that hosted him was eliminated.

Martyrdom is considered a weapon from Allah and is considered the highest glory that one can attain.

Radical Islam teaches that martyrdom is the quickest way to Allah and what is not permissible on earth is awaiting them in heaven. A martyr is taught to believe that martyrdom cleanses them from all their sins and guarantees them paradise.

If a Muslim women commits adultery or is raped she is considered used property and has soiled the honor of the family so she may be offered to become a martyr to cleanse the honor of you and your family. Or since the woman's two purposes in life are to bear children and to please her man, she may be asked by her husband to become a suicide martyr.

Children are taught killing Jews and "infidels" from birth is lessons. songs, stories, cartoons, and more. By age 16 they are considered ready.

Just like in Nazi Germany in the 1930's, the radical extremists are in control of the schools and media and are brainwashing Muslims and their children with little or no resistance. The primary tool is fear.

Hannity's America (FOXNEWS) revealed in a program that aired in England, that Jihad is being preached in "moderate Muslim" Mosques, on DVD's, in  prisons and clubs, and more: A Muslim preacher was quoted as saying: "We have to live like a state within a state until you take over." and "Jihad is the way of Allah." Teaching Hatred? (Family Research Council Washington Update May 24, 2006) Human rights champion Nina Shea has issued a report on Saudi textbooks that teach hatred of Christians, Jews, and in fact, of other Muslims. The books denounce any who do not follow the Saudi regime's severe Wahhabi form of Islam. Saudis have vast influence in the Muslim world--because of their oil wealth and because Saudi kings are said to be "Custodians of the Holy Places of Islam." Nina Shea's organization, Freedom House, conducted the study. It was based on textbooks spirited out of that repressive country. One chilling line should be read and re-read by everyone in the Bush administration: "It is forbidden for a Muslim to be a loyal friend to someone who does not believe in God and his prophet..." In other words, Saudi children are taught from fifth grade not to trust, align or support the Americans, the British, or even neighboring Iraqi Muslims who are fighting the war on terror. The Saudi Ambassador to the United States soothingly assures us that all this is changing, that Saudi textbooks are being "revised." Nina Shea has proved this is false. U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals recently rejected Christian parents' protests against student "role playing" activities. A California elementary school taught students to fight a "jihad" against Christian crusaders and "praise Allah" for their victories. The Ninth Circus approved such activities, affirming a lower court ruling that said they did not constitute an establishment of religion. It's a bizarre time to be in grade school in the Golden State.

CAPE TOWN, South Africa, July 26 /Christian Wire Service/ -- Muslim Mob at University Missions Week On Monday, 18 July, American missionary, Timothy Keller, was surrounded by a mob of Muslim students at the University of Pretoria threatening him and demanding that the his missions display be removed. Tim had been officially invited by the University Missions Committee to take part in their "Go Love the Nations" Missions Week 2005. Within two hours of setting up the Frontline Fellowship missions display, Timothy began to receive hostile reactions from Muslim students, some of whom swore and cursed him, and threatened his life. Soon a mob of fifteen to twenty Muslim students were surrounding the mission display shouting and swearing at Tim.  Some tore up or burned the missions literature. A Muslim member of the Student Representative Council then fetched the Dean of students to inform Tim that he had to dismantle the Frontline mission display. That afternoon, Tim was informed by the TUKS Missions Committee that they could not allow the mission display to be set up again. It was mentioned that the Frontline Fellowship newsletters, in what it reported on the activities and teachings of Muslims, were too offensive to Muslim students. (ETH comment: But the intolerance of those same Muslim students were not "too offensive" too Judeo-Christians? Double-standard? The world according to these Muslims "students" and no one else deserves to exist?)

The Federalist 05-28 Digest - Theo van Gogh, a Dutch filmmaker and columnist who frequently criticized Islam, was brutally murdered in full view of more than 50 witnesses while he was cycling to work in November last year. Dutch-Moroccan national Mohammed Bouyeri, the Jihadi who shot van Gogh 15 times, stabbed him, slit his throat, then pinned a note to his body with the knife, has confessed to a Dutch court that he acted on his religious beliefs. He added that he would do "exactly the same" if he were ever set free. To van Gogh's mother he said, "I cannot feel for you ... because I believe you are an infidel." In the enlightened , the most he can receive is life in prison without parole. This Jihadi admits that his actions had nothing to do wNetherlandsith the U.S. being in Iraq and Afghanistan, or "torture" of prisoners by the U.S. military, or the Israelis simply being alive, or unemployment and hopelessness (blamed for the London bombings), or any other such nonsense being advanced by those who would give a pass to terrorism. Likewise, commenting on the attacks in London, former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iraq and other actions taken by the U.S. and Britain are the consequences of terrorism, not the cause, noting terrorist attacks pre-9/11 and even pre-1948 when Israel was created. To blame us, he added, is "reverse causality."

Family Research Council  - The Washington Times today quoted an unnamed investigator as saying that there is symbolic significance in the fact that the bombers attempted to travel from a central location in the four different directions of the compass. "We think it was intended as an al Qaeda message--to seemingly blow up in the form [of] a fiery cross in the heart of the Christian infidels." The name of the station where the killers parted ways was "King's Cross." The story also noted that during publicity over alleged American abuse of the Koran, a group of protesting Muslims had burned a cross in front of the U.S. Embassy in London--an incident little reported or protested in this country. A combination of secular blindness and political correctness continues to prevent many people from seeing or stating the obvious--these terrorist bombings, like those on September 11, did not happen because of poverty, high debt burdens, or other economic reasons. They happened because the practitioners of a particular radical form of Islam believe that their religion not only allows but encourages them to murder those who don't share their faith especially Christians and Jews.

The Religion of Peace lists the nation, city, number injured, number killed and how the attack was carried out, such as suicide bomb, mass shooting, etc. Individual acid attacks against "immodest" women, rapes of Christian, Buddhist and Hindu women, along with state sponsored massacres in the Sudan are not listed. The latest study, Freedom in the World 2001-2002, highlighted the substantial democracy deficit in the Islamic world, especially in its Arabic core. According to the survey: While 121 of the world’s 192 countries are electoral democracies, only 11 of the 47 nations (23 percent) with an Islamic majority have democratically elected governments. By contrast, the non-Islamic world, which consists of 145 states, 110 are electoral democracies (75 percent). None of the 16 Arab states of the Middle East and North Africa is a democracy. There exists a dramatic freedom deficit between majority Islamic countries and the rest of the world. Of the states with an Islamic majority, only one, Mali, is rated Free. Eighteen are rated Partly Free, and 28 are considered Not Free. By contrast, in the non-Islamic world, 84 countries are Free, 41 are Partly Free, and 20 are Not Free. The gap in freedom has only widened over the last 20 years. While every other region of the world has registered significant gains for democracy and freedom, the countries of the Islamic world have experienced a significant increase in repression. The analysis, however, does not imply an inherent incompatibility between the Islamic world and democratic values. Democratically constituted governments, such as those in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Turkey, govern countries with large Muslim populations. Muslim authorities and fundamentalist extremists in several Islamic nations are coming down hard on Christians caught sharing their faith with Muslims. Associated Press reports that police in Saudi Arabia recently raided an underground church in suburban Riyadh and arrested 40 foreigners, including some children, for proselytizing. It is illegal in modern Saudi Arabia to promote any religion other than Islam, and organized churches are illegal. Adherents of non-Islamic faiths there are generally allowed to practice their beliefs in private homes but may not proselytize or meet for organized worship or other religious observances. Those arrested could face prison or possible deportation. And in Malaysia, another Islamic nation that forbids proselytizing of Muslims, police have detained two U.S. citizens who allegedly were handing out Christian pamphlets near a mosque. A Malay official says the American men were taken into custody on charges of "disturbing the peace in a religious manner," and the police have a court order permitting them to hold the two men for up to two weeks "for questioning." And while official retaliation for proselytizing can be harsh, the response from Muslim radicals in Islamic-dominated regions often proves lethal. The following are excerpts taken from an interview by Wlodzimierz Redzioch of The Sunday Catholic Weekly of Giorgio Paolucci, editor-in-chief of the Catholic Italian daily 'Avvenire' and the co-author of the book I cristiani venuti dall'Islam (Christians Coming From Islam) written together with the Lebanese journalist Camille Eid. Of his book, Paolucci says it is an attempt to show "the tip of the iceberg" concerning the "phenomenon" of Islamic conversions to Christianity, which is "not marginal at all."

GIORGIO PAOLUCCI: Due to migration, followers of Islam live among us. Thus Islam is in Europe, with its complexity, including the big problem of religious freedom that has not been solved by Islamic countries and secular Muslim communities dispersed all over the world. Our book deals with theological and legal aspects of apostasy, and the penalty for it. We have also showed stories of converts in order to understand how people can be fascinated with Christianity, at risk of being threatened, persecuted or facing difficulties. Within two years of work, overcoming the opposition and fears of many people, we managed to collect testimonies of 30 ex-Muslims who converted to Christianity and today they are living as Christians in Italy.

WLODZIMIERZ REDZIOCH: Why do Muslims convert to Christianity?

GIORGIO PAOLUCCI: Everyone asks questions about the sense of life, happiness, love, friendship, and life after death. The people we met did not often find satisfying answers to these questions in the Koran and in their Muslim upbringing but they encountered fascinating testimonies of Christians, their friends, colleagues, neighbors, teachers who showed them that there was a more convincing answer. This answer is not the Koran but Christianity. So Jesus Christ crowned their search and human desires.

WLODZIMIERZ REDZIOCH: What conclusions did you reach on the basis of your survey concerning Christian converts from Islam?

GIORGIO PAOLUCCI: Our book makes three challenges: challenge to Islam so that it grants their believers freedom of religion; challenge to the state authorities of the West that guarantee this freedom; challenge to lukewarm Christians so that they know that meeting Christ means a true 'revolution' of life. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 18, states that religious freedom is the foundation of every civil society. That's why Muslim communities in the West have the right to demand protection of their religious rights but they should also permit people to change their religion. Every government must ensure that the right to freedom of religion is obeyed. It cannot be accepted that a Muslim who has chosen Christianity must hide his new religion and e.g. go to church situated several dozen kilometers away from his home so as not to be persecuted by his local Islamic community. Muslim converts are also a great challenge for the Church because they are elements of 'the spring' of Christianity in the times where in many countries it has stopped being 'the agent' of existence and has become only 'a decoration'. Meeting these new Christians, coming from Islam, we were impressed by their enthusiasm and courage. 'You do not realize what treasure you have... Jesus Christ has revolutionized our lives' a certain Algerian told us. 'You possess a closed jewel case in which you have a treasure. We come to your churches and cannot see this treasure; we come to your country and see a closed case. You should keep it open because it contains treasures for all people. You are shy and ashamed of Jesus instead of promoting Jesus to immigrants'. We saw extremely living faith in those converts and that makes us aware that Christ has brought about a real revolution in the world.
