Do you know the consequences of same-sex lifestyle?
"The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing. If you can fake that, you've got it made." Groucho Marx
"We know that obligatory homosexuals are caught up in unconscious adaptations to early childhood abuse and neglect and that, with insight into their earliest beginnings, they can change. ... But, when homosexuality takes on all the aspects of a political movement, it, too, becomes a war, the kind of war in which the first casualty is truth, and the spoils turn out to be our own children. ... In a Washington March for Gay Pride, they chanted, 'We're here. We're queer. And we're coming after your children.' What more do we need to know?" Charles Socarides, M.D., clinical professor of psychiatry, Albert Einstein College of Medicine
Why doesn't the mainstream media report these FACTS? The increase in children being born out of wedlock in Scandinavia since marriage was redefined! William Murray, the chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition, warns of the dangers of legalizing same-sex marriage in the United States. He says Scandinavia has had nearly a decade of legal homosexual marriage, and it has nearly destroyed the institution of marriage altogether. Subject: From GLSEN: The Right Wing Game Plan to Control Our Schools
Here's why Christians can't trust GLSEN, the
Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network, and make pacts with them.
This op ed written by GLSEN president Kevin Jennings was just published. He's seeing a "conspiracy" among Christians and parents. It couldn't be that sane people are all simultaneously seeing the same horrific trends. No-- I've got my conspiracy membership card right here!
This article's at at:
The Right Wing Game Plan to Control Our Schools
The news is eerily similar across the country.
* In Georgia and Utah, bills are introduced that would de facto ban high school Gay-Straight Alliance clubs
* In "liberal" places as disparate as Westchester County, New York and Williston, Vermont, speakers addressing LGBT issue in schools come under attack from "local parents" and school officials withdraw invitations to them
* In Burlington, Iowa, a group of pastors launch an organized protest of a school-sponsored forum focused on bullying and its effect on gay, lesbian, and bisexual and transgender students
What's going on here?
Since founding GLSEN (the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, a national education network working to insure safe schools for LGBT students, staff, and families) in 1994, I have certainly seen my share of battles. But the pace and intensity of attacks on our work has increased significantly since the November 2004 election, which right-wing extremists seem to have taken as a mandate to promote their agenda. And in the past few months the crescendo has risen, with "spontaneous"" attacks happening all over the country.
I don't want to sound paranoid like Hillary Clinton did when she announced the existence of a "vast right wing conspiracy" that was after her husband, but the fact is that these seeming "spontaneous" attacks are anything but. In fact, a coordinated organizing effort, supported by national right wing organizations, underlies these seemingly disconnected events, and suggests the existence of, if not a "conspiracy," certainly a clear strategy to roll back the progress that has been made in enacting policies and programs that address the pervasive harassment that LGBT students face. Some quick web surfing shows the resources the extreme right has developed:
Live in a place where the school board or state legislature is considering laws that would protect LGBT students form bullying or harassment? Concerned Women for America instructs you on how to oppose such laws at:
Is the Day of Silence (a national day of action slated for April 26 this year, when students take a vow of silence to educate their peers about how LGBT students get silenced every day) happening in your town's schools? Concerned Women for America has a detailed plan for how to oppose it at http://www.cultureandfamily.org/articledisplay.asp?id=3704&department=CFI&categoryid=papers. The Alliance Defense Fund will help you stage a so-called "Day of Truth" to "counter the promotion of the homosexual agenda and express an opposing viewpoint from a Christian perspective". (www.DayofTruth.org).
Just want to make sure LGBT issues are never addressed in your district's schools? Mission America has a whole program instructing people about "what you can do to stop the promotion of homosexuality in our schools" with guides for both parents and students at http://www.truthatschool.org/index_frames.htm. And the Traditional Values Coalition has its own game plan for combating the "Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network's efforts to recruit children into homosexuality" at http://glsen.traditionalvalues.org/callyourschool.php.
The extreme right has made controlling school climate and curriculum a priority, and has developed a series of "battle plans" for its grassroots soldiers. They have a well-developed playbook for "promoting" their agenda - the very thing they, in mock indignation, accuse GLSEN of having and doing. Don't be fooled by these "grassroots" attacks: these folks are following clear plans and are well coordinated. There's no "spontaneity" involved. If we don't want to let the conditions that cause 4 out of 5 LGBT students to be harassed routinely at their school to continue, we'd better get busy and make sure that these extremists are not the only voices school leaders hear from.

"Quite often parents aren't allowed to even know what's going on."
Hurricane GLSEN by Marc Fey (9/28/03) About the time Hurricane Isabel reached landfall on Thursday, September 18, 2003, a group of activists, educators, and junior high and senior high school students gathered in Washington, D.C. for the annual Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network National Conference. On Friday night founder and co-director Kevin Jennings defiantly declared, “Neither rain, nor wind, not even a hurricane will stop us from bringing justice to our schools!” A clinic earlier that day was entitled “Strategies for Responding to Homophobic Bigotry: Everybody’s Business!” The title accurately set forth this point in their agenda-- to make the GLBT agenda everyone’s agenda, yours and mine included. And the strategy is to get to our kids.
NEA and GLSEN show their hateful attitudes at convention (Washington times 7/27/2004): What's really amazing in the article below is how Kevin Jennings and GLSEN must realize how deceitful they are being. On our web site are articles about GLSEN, quoting from their own material, where they encourage kids to learn about things like the Kinsey scale of "flexible" sexual desires, and about how kids should be allowed to experiment with any sexual orientation until they find what's right for them. This is a reckless and irresponsible message, but if that's their position, why not be able to go from homosexuality to heterosexuality? It reveals the purely political motivations involved, and their determination to absolutely shut down the opposition by any means possible. Reasonable debate and genuine tolerance are not desired by these folks. If you want to read pertinent excerpts from GLSEN's material go to www.missionamerica.com/oldagenda26.php.
GLSEN Complains About Lack Of Sexual Orientation Laws June 30 – The Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) has just issued a scorecard criticizing 42 states that do not have laws protecting a person’s "sexual orientation" or "gender identity," according to a recent report on CNSNews.com. CNSNews.com reported on February 9 ("Same-Sex Marriage Debate Moves Into Schools") that homosexual-rights activists are invading our public schools to secure gullible disciples of their dangerous social agenda. The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) has printed a "curriculum guide" for public school teachers that presents a six-point lesson plan that is designed to convince students that homosexual relationships are the equivalent of traditional man-woman relationships (http://www.glsen.org/cgi-bin/iowa/all/library/record/1411.html ). "The lesson plans range from discussing the 'historical parallels' of same-sex marriage to providing students with the chance to read books about homosexual relations and then consider what it would be like to be in a same-sex wedding," CNSNews reported. Sandi Martinez, the Massachusetts state director of Concerned Women for America., told CNSNews, "Quite often parents aren't allowed to even know what's going on."

The deception to get access to "the impressionable children." Culture and Family Institute analyst Pete LaBarbera was among those who addressed the conferees attending the Concerned Women for America's national convention in Washington recently. He told the gathering's supporters that homosexual activists are getting "nastier." LaBarbera expressed that he has seen Kevin Jennings, the leader of the Gay, Lesbian Straight Education Network, use a "very bad four-letter word" -- in a church no less, that LaBarbera notes was formerly Norman Vincent Peale's church in New York City. LaBarbera said Jennings used that four-letter word to describe his attitude toward "hard-core bigots" -- which, LaBarbera says, "is people like us." LaBarbera told conferees that homosexual activists are giving up efforts to convert Christians to their side, and instead will concentrate on the moderates in society and "the impressionable children." Reading, Writing and … Homosexuality? by Doug Giles (2/21/2004) Gone are the Norman Rockwell days of sending young Scooter off to school with his satchel slung over his shoulder, PBJ sandwich in his Superman lunch box and a wide-eyed expectancy of learning, the kind that makes individuals and nations great.... And now I’m an officially ticked off father, as just the other day without warning and without notice both my daughters were exposed to “It’s Okay to Be Gay” propaganda presented by high school students to their classmates, including my daughters, with the approval of their high school and middle school teachers.... Teachers and kids can’t talk about Jesus Christ, Moses or Biblical ethics -- at least not in a positive, plausible sense -- in the classroom. But it’s just fine to talk about Timmy and Tommy, the Testicle Twins? About Daddy’s male roommate? About anal sex and oral sex between teenagers of the same sex? What in the world is going on? Parents, the innocence you work your butts off trying to provide your kids is being eroded, undermined or at the very least under-valued within the NEW public school systems. (See the complete article.)
Homosexual activist Kevin Jennings, director of the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) describing how immorality got a foothold in the Massachusetts schools by using "safety" as an issue." "We immediately seized upon the opponent's calling card -- safety -- and explained how homophobia represents a threats to students' safety by creating a climate where violence, name-calling, health problems, and suicide are common. Tilting our report, 'Making Schools Safe for Gay and Lesbian Youth,' we automatically threw our opponents onto the defensive and stole their best line of attack. This....short-circuited their arguments and left them back-peddling from day one."

(AgapePress) - A nationally known advocate of traditional family values says while school boards across the country claim they want "tolerance" for homosexuals, the real agenda is something quite different.
The Broward County, Florida, school board has voted to permit a homosexual "tolerance" group to train teachers in what it calls "fighting harassment." The board is endorsing an agreement with the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network, which will provide the training.
Janet Folger of the Center for Reclaiming America says programs like this have nothing to do with tolerance or diversity. She says according to GLSENs director, it is about bringing the radical homosexual agenda into schools, to indoctrinate children at a young, impressionable age.
"The school board says its about harassment, its about tolerance. Well, what does GLSEN say?" she asks. "The executive director, Kevin Jennings, says that it is about promoting homosexuality. Thats what he said is his mission. Let me read you his quote. He said, Promoting homosexuality -- we can make it happen. That is our mission from this day forward. "
Folger describes the prospects as "frightening." "We had people that went into the GLSEN meetings. And make no mistake, this is not about tolerance in meeting with teachers -- it's about getting to the children," she says. "In fact, it was in that GLSEN meeting, locally held, that they said, 'We need this agreement to get to the children.' "
Folger also has profanity-laced comments from Jennings on tape, where his attitude toward Christianity is clearly stated. "This is what he thinks," Folger says. "He said, I dont care what they think. Drop dead."
Folger says increasingly, school boards across the country are acting as willing accomplices to the radical homosexual agenda.
