The Kingdom of God - "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God..." What is the Kingdom of God? What was the Gospel of the Kingdom that both John the Baptist and Jesus preached? Jesus said, "It is the Spirit that quickens, the flesh profits nothing... " (John 6:63), challenging not only secular wisdom, but Christian doctrines. Is there a God? Is Jesus the only way? The question of evil. Why the Holy Spirit? Trinity of God and trinity of man - in His image? Salvation, eternal life is knowing God. Jesus called His followers to "shine their Light" and become "the salt of the world," and bear the "fruit" of the Spirit. Are Christians worthy of the "Great Commission?" Are Christians worthy of His Kingdom? "Every branch in me that does not bear fruit He takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, he purges it, that it may bring forth more fruit." (John 15) He that has ears to hear, let him hear.

Can You Live The Sermon On The Mount?

Can You Live The Sermon On The Mount? (Matthew 5-7) - Excerpts From "Made Alive" by Charles S. Price

"When Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount, He was not a demagogue presenting specified standards of life to which they should struggle to attain....No man in history has ever been able to live the Life of the Sermon on the Mount without the indwelling Life of the Man who preached it!...We do our best to do good. We battle every instinctive and natural force within us as we attempt to measure up to the Sermon on the Mount. But the end of that road is disillusionment and disappointment. We find we cannot do it! It is outside the boundaries of human capabilities; it is beyond the possibility of self attainment. We have not found out that what we call life in the Spirit is really the Spirit Life in us.

Let the Words of Jesus in John 14:17 ring in your hearts: 'Even the Spirit of Truth whom the world cannot receive because it can't see Him, or know Him. But you know Him for he dwells with you and shall be in you.' And then later, 'In that day you shall know that I am in My Father and you in Me, and I in you.' And then again in John 16:12-13, 'I have yet many things to tell you, but you would not be able to comprehend them now. Howbeit when the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all truth;'

Though we were to live ten million lives, we could never be like Jesus, by attempting to imitate Him.

He does not ask us to, but He stands at the door and knocks and wants us to let Him enter so that He might live out His Life in us and through us. His work was made perfect and complete. You cannot add to perfection. As He did nothing without the Father, we are to do nothing without Him. Never mind your imperfections or shortcomings. They were nailed to the Cross with Him."

"...Can the Sermon on the Mount be lived by human life?
Can sinful man ascend so high, above his sin and strife?
Is there the possibility that he can strive and strain
Through a thousand consecrations that life to attain?
Forgive us, Lord, if such we think; for that is not Thy way.
Oh give us ears to really hear what Thou didst say that day.
We want that life. Oh, Vision blessed, from us Lord never part
For we can only live it when, Thou livest in our hearts.
----From a poem of Charles S. Price

Not what we can do, but what He has done.

Know ye not that the Holy Spirit is in the world seeking out a Bride for the Heavenly Bride Groom?

When you say, "I will go," the "I" will have to go!

It is not our faith in Jesus Christ; it is the Faith of Jesus Christ in us.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Galatians 2:20-21
