"[D]emocracy will soon degenerate into an anarchy, such an anarchy that every man will do what is right in his own eyes and no man's life or property or reputation or liberty will be secure, and every one of these will soon mould itself into a system of subordination of all the moral virtues and intellectual abilities, all the powers of wealth, beauty, wit and science, to the wanton pleasures, the capricious will, and the execrable cruelty of one or a very few." -- John Adams (An Essay on Man's Lust for Power, 29 August 1763) Reference: Original Intent, Barton (338); original The Papers of John Adams, Taylor, ed., vol. 1 (83) ( More warnings at: http://www.earstohear.net/Separation/warnings.html )
Action to Take
The ValuesVoters’ Contract with Congress: A Declaration of American Renewal - We invite you to join us as a ValuesVoter. A ValuesVoter is a person that believes in American values and is willing to ask their friends and elected representatives to take action in support of these values.
Sign Values Voters’ Contract With Congress Petition March 16, 2006 -- The Traditional Values Coalition is joining with more than a dozen other pro-family leaders to promote the Values Voters’ Contract With Congress.
Leaders of values voters believe that we need a common declaration of our values and a common plan for solving the problems facing America. That is why we organized and drafted the Values Voters’ Contract with Congress. This document was drafted by a number of leaders. For a listing of a number of signers, click here.
There are two versions of the Contract: the full version and the short version. The full version underscores our founding principles, diagnoses our present problems, and lists practical solutions to these problems, including pending legislative remedies in many cases. The short version of the Contract begins with an abbreviated preamble and lists the same legislative remedies. For easy reference, there is also a check card (pdf) version of the Contract.
In any contract, both sides take action. We are petitioning Congress and asking them to enact the ideas stated in the Contract. As values voters we pledge to take action by informing ourselves and our friends and encouraging our elected representatives to enact the ideas stated in the Contract.

Sign the petition to tell the Democrat leaders to stop undermining the War on Terror with cheap political stunts. Weakening our national security and sovereignty is their agenda.

Judicial Impeachment Vote of the People
The Constitutional system of "checks and balances" requires your active participation. Congress won't take the necessary steps to begin impeachment proceedings without hearing from you. Identified here are some of the most outrageous justices and their unbelievable rulings:
Judge Joseph Batallion (U.S. District of Nebraska) was the first federal judge to strike down a state marriage amendment.
Judge John E. Jones, III (U.S. District of Pennsylvania) ruled that presenting schoolchildren with Creationism alongside evolution for balance violated the First Amendment.
Judge Lawrence K. Karlton (U.S. District of California) ruled the Pledge of Allegiance unconstitutional because it contained the phrase "under God."
Judge Stephen Reinhardt (U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals) held that parents' rights do not extend beyond the school house door and that a public school can convey to students "whatever information it wishes to provide, sexual or otherwise."
It is hard to believe that balancing the teaching of evolution with a presentation of Creationism is a violation of the First Amendment. Moreover, it is shocking that public schools, spending YOUR money, have been determined by Judge Reinhardt to know better what information should be provided to children than their own parents, "sexual or otherwise."
Go here to make your voice heard for impeachment of these activist justices!
The Judeo-Christian Council exists to stop judicial activism by: (1) educating public servants and citizens about the problem and its solutions, (2) ensuring that only constitutional judges are appointed, and (3) enforcing the system of judicial accountability that prevents judges from legislating from the bench. But this is a task we cannot do alone. We must have the help of people like you who are willing to ensure that judges who overstep their authority are removed from the bench.
The Following from Christian Coalition Washington weekly 3/17/2006
Republicans In Senate Still Need to Push for Confirmation of 11 of President Bush's Nominations to the U. S. Circuit Court of Appeals In the euphoria of getting two outstanding conservative Justices confirmed to the United States Supreme Court, Chief Justice John Roberts and Associate Justice Samuel Alito, eleven of President George W. Bush's judicial nominees to the United States Courts of Appeals have been left languishing, including one nominee, U.S. District Judge Terrence W. Boyle, who has been filibustered by left-wing Democrats for almost 5 years now. The Senate Judiciary Committee, chaired now by Senator Arlen Specter, (R-PA), did not send his nomination to the Senate floor for almost 4 years and it has been stalled there for more than a year. Besides Judge Boyle, ten more of President Bush's circuit court nominees have been stopped from getting a hearing and a Senate floor vote. Besides these 11 judicial nominees waiting to be confirmed, there are 9 more vacancies on the Circuit Court of Appeals. It would behoove President Bush to quickly fill these 9 vacancies and the Senate to approve 20 more appeals court nominees before the end of this summer. If the Democrats take control of the Senate, there will be virtually no more conservative nominees confirmed to the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Even if the Republicans keep control of the Senate, left-wing Senators will ensure that no more conservatives will be confirmed to the federal court system after September 2007 in hopes that the next Democrat president can fill these vacancies with left-wing appointees.
A Corrupt United Nations, Opposed by 64% of the American People, Votes 170-4 Against the United States -- Which Pays Over 25% of U.N.'s Budget -- to Establish an Equally Corrupt U.N. "Human Rights" Council - Only Israel, Marshall Islands, and Palau Vote With U.S.A. The previous United Nations organization on human rights (Human Rights Commission) had such terrorist nations as members -- and indeed chairing the organization -- Libya, Iran, Cuba, and the Sudan. The United States of America, led by United Nations Ambassador John Bolton, attempted to set up a new United Nations human rights organization, which would adopt policies to bar or remove such dictatorships and terrorist nations from any body, which deals with the subject of human rights.
Instead of approving such an American plan, 170 nations in the United Nations voted against such a commonsense proposal, and voted to continue the past practice of allowing terrorist nations to be members of the U.N. human rights organization, now called the U.N. Human Rights Council. Three nations, Israel (unbelievably, a frequent target by the U.N. Human Rights Commission), the Marshall Islands, and Palau voted with the United States. Before the vote on Wednesday, Jimmy Carter had urged nations around the world to vote against America's position. In a new Gallup poll, headlined "Americans' Ratings of United Nations Worst Ever," dated February 6-9, 2006, 64% of Americans say that the United Nations is doing a poor job, which is "the highest negative rating of the United Nations Gallup has ever measured." After Wednesday's 170-4 vote against America's position, this negative number is bound to increase exponentially.
U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton said, "Absent stronger mechanisms for maintaining credible membership, the United States could not join consensus on this resolution. We did not have sufficient confidence in this text to be able to say that the (Human Rights Council) would be better than its predecessor." The Bush Administration had fought for a smaller panel whose members would have to be elected by a 2/3 majority, making it more difficult for countries such as Cuba, Sudan, Iran, Libya and other dictatorships/terrorist nations to get elected as members of the U.N. human rights group.
Congressman Chris Smith, (R-NJ), Chairman of the House International Relations subcommittee on Africa, global human rights and international operations said, "The victims of human rights abuse around the world deserve better than this new, egregiously flawed council. It is way past time for the United States to respect the wishes of the American taxpayer and drastically cut back its "contributions" -- if not zero out which a large number of Members of Congress have voted for in the past -- to the United Nations.

"The man who never reads will never be read; he who never quotes will never be quoted. He who will not use the thoughts of other men’s brains, proves that he has no brains of his own." - Charles Spurgeon
"One hundred years from now it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in my bank account, or what my clothes looked like. But one hundred years from now the world may be a little better because I was important in the life of a child." - Anonymous
Phyllis George was interviewing Roger Staubach and asked him how he felt about having the All-American Boy image – did it bother him? Staubach replied, "I enjoy sex just as much as Joe Namath, I’ve just chosen to do it with one woman."
"I am an old man and have known a great many troubles, but most of them never happened." - Mark Twain
“Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its

I." - Edwin Louis Cole "If you wish to be miserable, think about
yourself; about what you want, what you like, what respect people ought to
pay you, what people think of you; and then to you nothing will be pure. You
will spoil everything you touch; you will make sin and misery for yourself
out of everything God sends you; you will be as wretched as you choose." -
Charles Kingsley “I count him braver who conquers his desires
than him who conquers his enemies; for the hardest victory is the victory

"I set myself on fire, and the people come to see me burn." "Prayer is not conquering God’s reluctance,
but taking hold of God’s willingness." - Phillips Brooks “A sinning man will stop praying. A praying
man will stop sinning.” - Leonard Ravenhill “It is obvious that Paul did not regard prayer
as supplemental, but as fundamental—not something to be added to his work
but the very matrix out of which his work was born. He was a man of action
because he was a man of prayer. It was probably his prayer even more than
his preaching that produced the kind of leaders we meet in his letters.” -
