"The religious community has to decide whether they want to be tax exempt or involved in politics." Democratic National Party Chairman Howard Dean to Christian Science Monitor April 19, 2006
Warnings - unheeded?
"The light shines in darkness, and the darkness comprehends it not" John 1:5
"Without morals a republic cannot subsist any length of time; they therefore who are decrying the Christian religion, whose morality is so sublime and pure...are undermining the solid foundation of morals, the best security for the duration of free governments." Charles Carroll, signer of the Declaration of Independence
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." -- John Stuart Mill, a British Philosopher
"My ardent desire is, and my aim has been...to comply strictly with all our engagements foreign and domestic; but to keep the U States free from political connections with every other Country. To see that they may be independent of all, and under the influence of none. In a word, I want an American character, that the powers of Europe may be convinced we act for ourselves and not for others; this, in my judgment, is the only way to be respected abroad and happy at home." George Washington
"In the end we will remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends." Martin Luther King Jr.
"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke
"Freedom is the right to be wrong, not the right to do wrong." John G. Diefenbaker
"Republics are created by the virtue, public spirit, and intelligence of the citizens. They fall, when the wise are banished from the public councils, because they dare to be honest, and the profligate are rewarded, because they flatter the people, in order to betray them." Joseph Story
"A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when once they lose their virtue then will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader." Samuel Adams
“You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot help the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by encouraging class hatred. You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn. You cannot build character and courage by taking away a man’s initiative and independence. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.” Abraham Lincoln
"America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." Abraham Lincoln
"The eyes of all people are upon us, so that if we deal falsely with our God in this work we have undertaken, and so cause us to withdraw His present help from us, we shall be made a story and a byword through the world." John Winthrop, Governor of the Massachusetts Colony
"Being a lover of freedom, when the (Nazi) revolution came, I looked to the universities to defend it, knowing that they had always boasted of their devotion to the cause of truth; but no, the universities were immediately silenced. Then I looked to the great editors of the newspapers, whose flaming editorials in days gone by had proclaimed their love of freedom; but they, like the universities, were silenced in a few short weeks...Only the Church stood squarely across the path of Hitler's campaign for suppressing truth. I never had any special interest in the Church before, but now I feel a great affection and admiration for it because the Church alone has had the courage and persistence to stand for intellectual and moral freedom. I am forced to confess that what I once despised I now praise unreservedly. Albert Einstein
"The World is not dangerous because of those who do harm, but because of those who look at it without doing anything." Albert Einstein
The rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God. John F. Kennedy

Islam - Religion of
peace, or Islam or else...
Do Muslim countries represent individual
freedoms and liberties or tyranny and oppression?
"Religious bondage shackles and debilitates the mind and unfits it for every noble enterprize, every expanded prospect. " James Madison (letter to William Bradford, 1 April 1774) Reference: Madison: Writings, Rakove, ed., Library of America (9)
"Now is the time for the Caliphate to rule the world"
This Muslim chant is NOW occurring throughout the world. A caliphate is the Islamic call demanding that a supreme religious (Islamic) leader rule the world. The result will be EXACTLY what James Madison warned and worse, torture and death for ANYONE who DOES NOT embrace this theocracy.
America's First Amendment is being used to create a Terrorist Bill of Rights and Muslim clerics are preaching Jihad to America's youth while their families and friends watch TV and appear to be oblivious to this infiltration which will destroy America and their comfortable way of life. Politicians appear to be complacent and willing to compromise American security and safety as they coddle the main stream media by being "politically correct."
"Contemplate the mangled bodies of your countrymen, and then say, 'What should be the reward of such sacrifices?' ... If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animating contest of freedom...crouch down and lick the hands, which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!" Samuel Adams
