We Have Become “Fat Cats”

Those of us who live in America have become “Fat Cats.”

We simply no longer take time to care about America or what is going on in our nation. The ACLU, Illegal Aliens, Islamic Radicals and many other groups just do not matter to us anymore. We have become “Fat Cats.”

What have we become so busy doing? Maybe we have become so busy living our lives we just don’t have time to pay attention. Maybe we have become so worldly we don’t have time to fight for what is just simply right. Maybe there are just too many things going on and we feel unable to fight against them anymore.

Maybe we think we are just too busy to really get involved.

Whether you are a Democrat, Republican or an Independent, we believe the vast majority of us are patriotic Americans. We believe in America and what the Founding Fathers started when they wrote our Constitution. We must follow the idea that we are all Americans first, last and foremost. Then we could stop the silly game of political bi-partisanship which is going on in Washington DC today.

The vast majority of you are good people who want the best for America and for your grandchildren. Unfortunately, there are a lot of bad people in the world who just cannot wait to do the next wrong thing. We have never figured out why there are bad people in the world, but they are here.

The ACLU, Illegal Aliens and Radical Islamic followers seem to think freedom means no rules, no standards and no personal responsibility for our own actions. The good sounding arguments of the ACLU, Illegal Aliens and Islamic Radicals are leading America down a path of self destruction.

True freedom comes from following a set of rules upon which the majority of moral people agree. We must return to that kind of Common Sense thinking again.

Our Declaration of Independence declares that God, not our Constitution, gave us our freedom. God endowed all men with the freedom to pursue life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. God gave us the ability to make freewill moral choices and then He expects us to be responsible and face the consequences of our own actions.

This is in direct opposition to the ACLU’s idea that freedom means no rules and no personal responsibility for our own actions.

The Bible teaches us that we are saved by the grace of God and then God expects us to be doers of His word, and not hearers only. Maybe that is what is missing in America today. Maybe we have forgotten how to be doers of the word.

Some of you may not be Christians. However, what is wrong with feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, helping the poor and being a watchman for God’s kingdom? What is wrong with trying to live by the Ten Commandments?

What is wrong with keeping America strong so we can help other nations?

The truth is that America will become a third world country if we continue walking on the path we are currently going down. In the meanwhile, we have become “Fat Cats” who are only concerned about getting to be fatter cats.

What is wrong with getting involved for real?

Important pro-gun legislation, H.4552, sponsored by State Representative Frank Hynes (D-Plymouth-4) has passed the House and has been stuck in the Senate since February. Anti-gun advocates have been heavily lobbying the office of Senate President Robert Travaglini (D-First Suffolk, Middlesex) in an attempt to water down the bill with amendments. H.4552, "An Act Protecting the Rights of Target Shooters," would do the following: (1) Create a new definition in Section 121, Chapter 140 for "Single Action Revolver," using the same language taken from the identical exception passed in California. (2) Would exempt certain "Single Action Revolvers" and precision target handguns, "any firearm solely designed and sold specifically for formal target shooting competition," from the testing requirements in Section 123 of Chapter 140. (3) Codify the language already passed in 1998 that exempts "any firearm lawfully owned or possessed under a license issued under said Chapter 140 on or before October 21, 1998." Your action is critical in protecting the Second Amendment Rights of Massachusetts' gun owners! H.R. 5092-This bill would improve BATFE's process for punishing FFLs and establish guidelines for BATFE investigations. This bill was drafted in large part to address recent BATFE abuses at Richmond, Va.-area gun shows highlighted in hearings before the U.S. House Judiciary Committee's Subcommitee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security.

S. 2599/H.R. 5013-Legislation to prohibit the confiscation of lawfully owned firearms during states of emergency. Would guarantee legal recourse for victims of illegal gun seizures

H.R. 1384-This bill would remove several antiquated and unnecessary restrictions imposed on interstate firearms business since 1968.

S. 1082/H.R. 1288-Legislation to repeal the draconian D.C. gun ban and restore the right of lawful District residents to own firearms to defend themselves and their families.

H.R. 4547-Federal legislation requiring recognition of out-of-state Right-to-Carry permits.

National Petition Drive Launched to Save Mt. Soledad Cross ANN ARBOR, MI – In an effort to save the famous 43-foot Mt. American Family Association Earlier this year, Ford Motor Company sponsored a program showing two lesbians passionately kissing each other. Now the automaker has made an in-your-face move against traditional marriage advocates with the historic step of advertising all their name brands in a homosexual magazine. This followed a request by AFA that Ford withdraw from supporting any homosexual magazine. In the May issue of the homosexual publication OUT, Ford has advertised all eight of their brand automobiles. This is first time in history that Ford has advertised all their brands in a homosexual publication. In this issue of OUT, which Ford supported with their advertising, are articles such as Nightlife: Party All the Time. Here is the description OUT gave of that article: "Rockin' and raunchy queer clubs are making a comeback, and we tell you where the three hottest places to play are." Another article was The Mix: Scary Lady, Porn 2 Go. Here is the OUT description: ...porn stars cook up their favorite meals for your pleasure..."Under the title The Long and Short of It, we find this description by OUT: Ronni Radner goes inside Runt, a weekly party for bite-size gay guys and the men who love them, and looks at the rise of the vertically challenged queer man.
