Gen. Pace Should Not Apologize to Gays; Just Telling the Truth A homosexual advocacy group, Service members Legal Defense Network is demanding an apology from Marine Gen. Peter Pace who said in a Chicago Tribune interview that homosexuality was like adultery. He also stated that " the military should not condone it by allowing gays to serve openly in the military. "But Phil Magnan of Biblical Family Advocates disagrees with them in saying, "If there is any apologizing that needs to be done, it's by homosexual advocates who have drawn millions of young people, including soldiers into a destructive, immoral and unhealthy lifestyle." 9th U. S. Circuit again tramples First Amendment, religious speech (OneNewsNow) Liberty Counsel attorney Mary McAlister says another ruling by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in California has gone against U.S. Supreme Court precedent. Last week, the 9th Circuit upheld the policy of a California public library that made meeting rooms available to the public for educational, cultural and community activities, but denied their use for religious services.
Wallis is Wrong, Part One. On Budgets, Morality, and Priorities Frank Pastore - Jim Wallis, leader of Sojourners and one of the Big Three of the Religious Left, recently asked, "What are the great moral issues of our time for evangelical Christians?"
The criminalization of politics Tom DeLay This is what the political left in this country has brought us, and this is why many of the best leaders in our land refuse to take public office. They are willing to be scarred in political battle, but they are not willing to subject themselves to total destruction. ...But the liberals could not win on the floor or at the ballot box, so they tried to win by hurting us personally. Like good communists, when they cannot defeat their enemies politically they seek to destroy them personally, and this is what they did to us. All of this is punishment for holding values different from theirs. All of this is the price they want to visit on us simply for being conservative.

But his confession didn't end there. ...In a 26 page transcript, Mohammed claimed involvement in some 30 terrorist attacks over the last 15 years, including the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, the deaths of more than 200 people in the 2002 Bali Nightclub bombings, and the launch of a shoulder fired missile at an Israeli jetliner in Kenya. Folger urges conservatives not to settle for GOP frontrunners (AFA.net) Conservative author and talk show host Janet Folger of the group Faith 2 Action believes GOP presidential frontrunners -- Rudy Giuliani, John McCain and Mitt Romney -- are Republicans in name only. Meanwhile, she says GOP presidential candidates who actually agree with the party's platform are not even being considered by the mainstream press and many conservative leaders. ...Romney also "mandated marriage licenses to homosexual couples," Folger adds, "even after his supposed pro-marriage conversion." Instead of looking at name-only Republican presidential hopefuls such as McCain and Romney, she argues, conservatives need to take a closer look at candidates like Duncan Hunter, Tom Tancredo, Sam Brownback and Mike Huckabee, and others who more closely align with the Republican Party's platform.
AP Poll Scary for True Conservatives - (ChristianNewswire.com) In looking at the latest AP poll Christians in America have a great deal to be concerned about in the 2008 Presidential elections.
The Liberal Separation Of Truth And Politics (OpinionEditorials.com) The John Edwards camp said it clearly, if the truth works for them, then they will do business with the fair and balanced cable news network Fox News, but if the truth isnt on their side, well they just wont participate with Fox News. Theyll search out the rest of the liberal media to do their bidding as they always have in the past.
Clinton, Obama: Homosexuality 'Not Immoral' (CNSnews.com) "Well, I've heard from a number of my friends, and I've certainly clarified with them any misunderstanding that anyone had, because I disagree with General Pace completely," Clinton told Bloomberg News. "I do not think homosexuality is immoral." Also on Thursday, Obama released a statement on the issue. "I do not agree with General Pace that homosexuality is immoral," the Illinois Democrat noted. "Attempts to divide people like this have consumed too much of our politics over the past six years."
A Secret Plan To Make Same Sex Marriage Legal in Amerca By David New - According to some legal experts, 35 states have already passed an amendment to the U.S. Constitution making same sex marriage legal. It is doubtful that anyone knew it at the time, but when the legislatures of 35 states passed the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) they passed a gay marriage amendment to the Constitution. If three more states pass the ERA, it is possible that this will effectively make same sex marriage legal in the United States. This scenario is a real possibility. Now that the Democrats are in control of Congress, you can be sure that some homosexual activists have already considered the possibilities. The key to understanding how this could happen is the 27th Amendment to the Constitution passed in 1992. ...Phyllis Schlafly, a leader in support of traditional family values, predicted 30 years ago that the ERA could be used by homosexual activists and their supporters to advance their radical agenda. Sadly, her prediction may come true.

Education or Indoctrination? & Education ResourcesFrom MassResistance.org: "I think I might be gay" -- Homosexual recruitment pamphlets handed out in Massachusetts high schools "gay day" event. Parents denied access by principal. Parents rights bill needed!
Suppose your son came home from school one day with a pamphlet -- given to him by the school. Suppose it told your son this:
Men who call themselves gay are sexually attracted to and fall in love with other men. Their sexual feelings toward men are normal and natural for them. These feelings emerge when they are boys and the feelings continue into adulthood. . . "I don't remember exactly when I first knew I was gay, but I do remember that the thought of sex with men always excited me."
"I had to reject a lot of negative heterosexual and religious programming that made me feel lousy about myself as a gay person. I began to like myself by meeting other gay people and going to a gay support group."
"But it is crucial to be honest with yourself. Just as self-denial costs you, coming out pays off. Most kids who accept their sexuality say they feel calmer, happier and more confident."
This was given out to students at Newton North High School in December, during an all-day "Transgender Bisexual Gay Lesbian Awareness Day" event (which the school called "ToBeGLAD Day"). By order of the principal, parents were not allowed to attend. The pamphlet also lists places kids can go to meet homosexuals. How would something like this affect a kid who might be going through a confused and vulnerable time in his life? Well . . . the school isn't interested in what YOU think. And since the recent ruling in the David Parker lawsuit, it will only get worse!
Here's the pamphlet: "I think I might be gay - now what do I do?"

And here's another one that was given out that day.
This slick booklet is from national homosexual group targeting kids.

And there's more to show you - this was just the beginning. Check the MassResistance website tomorrow (Thursday).
Are you going to stand for this? Right now, legislators are balking at supporting the Parents Rights Bill!! Are you going to let a bunch of cowardly Massachusetts legislators just look the other way, claiming they have "more important" things to attend to, and they "aren't ready" to co-sponsor the new Parents Rights Bill (see below)? Well, if you feel strongly about this, don't let them off the hook.
MAKE THEM support this. (For example, email the above "pamphlet" to them, then call them up and make them answer for it! The emails are on the list of reps on our Take Action page, under "web site" in the grid.)

"A crime is a crime" - Daily Record/Sunday News York Daily Record/Sunday News Article Launched: Mar 12, 2007 - In February, York Suburban High School performed the play "The Laramie Project." Is this the same play that the Surrey School District in British Columbia cancelled in 2005? Administrators said "the play's sex, violence and foul language were unacceptable." Des Moines, Iowa, parents were also upset by the profanity, scenes that contain graphic violence and depictions of sex.
CWA: School Tells Kids to Hide Pro-'Gay' Propaganda from Parents In a shocking and brazen act of governmental abuse of parental rights, Deerfield High School (DHS) in Deerfield, Illinois, has required fourteen-year-old freshmen to attend a "Straight Gay Alliance Network" (GSA) panel discussion led by "gay" and "lesbian" upperclassmen during a "freshman advisory" class which secretively featured inappropriate discussions of a sexual nature in promotion of high-risk homosexual behaviors. Not only has DHS required that its young and impressionable freshmen be exposed to radical homosexual propaganda, the school has further required that students sign a "confidentiality agreement" promising not to tell anyone -- including their own parents -- about the discussion.

Alternatives to big-government education More than four decades ago, Heritages Jennifer Marshall explains in a new video, the federal government got involved with K-12 education with promises of improved schooling for all. Then in 2002, Congress tried againand the problems persisted. Neither No Child Left Behind nor any federal program is capable of closing that achievement gap thats so evident now in America, Marshall says. Click here to watch the video and find out what the alternatives are. In a related commentary that appeared in Human Events, Heritages Rob Bluey looks at the need to return education to local governments. One bill, known as A-PLUS, offers what Bluey calls an opportunity to establish clear-cut priorities that return more power to local schools and reduce Washingtons involvement in education. In cased you missed it... MEXICAN 'MIGRATION" - In the Bush Administration the word "immigration" is out and the word "migration" is in. While in Mexico President Bush repeatedly referred to Mexican "migration" to the United States. Migration is the free movement of people within the border of a nation, while immigration is the movement of people from one nation to another. Apparently the President has decided that all Mexicans are actually Americans and have the right to "migrate" to the USA. NBC News White House correspondent Kelly O'Donnell remarked: "We saw something you don't see very often. And that is President Bush made a promise, directly, to the people of another country, pledging to the Mexican public that he'll do everything possible to work for the passage of what he calls 'comprehensive immigration reform.'" While ten million or so Mexicans illegally will be allowed to stay in the USA under the President's plan, it is my understanding that the one million Europeans and two million Asians in the USA illegally will be sent back to their nations of origin.
President still under fire for taking no action in Border agents' case - President George W. Bush continues to face criticism for refusing to pardon two former U.S. Border Patrol agents that are serving lengthy prison sentences for shooting an illegal alien drug smuggler along the U.S.-Mexico border. White House spokesman Tim Goeglein says President Bush was asked about the case involving Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean in February and "made it clear that it was important the case be looked at."

Why we Need Consumer Driven Health Care & What Pilots can Teach Hospitals about Patient Safety (National Center for Policy Analysis)(Media Reseach Center) by L. Brent Bozell III - Bushs attorney general fired eight. Clintons fired 93. The media think the eight dismissals were a scandal so massive some have begun calling on Attorney General Alberto Gonzales to resign. But they thought the 93 Clinton firings were not worth investigating for the length of a cigarette break. Can a liberal double standard be any more obvious?
(Media Reseach Center) by L. Brent Bozell III - Most American parents display an optimism about their children living in a richer, more technologically advanced world and as they grow, that theyll be healthier with a longer life expectancy. All that said, theres also a remarkable pessimism about the moral decline they are bequeathing to the next generation. A new cultural-values survey of 2,000 American adults performed by the polling firm of Fabrizio, McLaughlin & Associates for the Culture and Media Institute reveals a strong majority, 74 percent, believes moral values in America are weaker than they were 20 years ago. Almost half, 48 percent, agree that values are much weaker than they were 20 years ago.

PatriotPost.us 07-11 Digest The Good Old Days? Well, contrary to what the MSM would have us believe, according to Investors Business Daily the Good Old Days are now. Citing the latest Federal Reserve Board data from the fourth quarter of 2006, IBD reports that the wealth (net worth) of the average American household has leaped by a third in the last five years to roughly $487,000$55.63 trillion overall (yes, thats with a t). To provide some perspective on that figure, IBD notes it is roughly four times the size of our economy, and nearly a quarter bigger that the size of the entire world economy. IBD further adds, Weve added as much wealth in the last decade as we did in our nations first 220 years. For those members of the Leftmedia unable to connect these dots, wealth is a direct indicator of standard of living. Measured in terms of average household wealth, the standard of living existing in the U.S. today has no historical equal. This despite an uncanny lack of fiscal restraint by the federal government. Could this fluke of wealth be related to tax cuts or Executive trade promotion authority? Nah. Dont be silly.
Federal budget chart book Yesterday, Heritage released its latest Federal Revenue and Spending: A Book of Charts, which explains in graphical form the fiscal problems our nations government faces. Former career women-turned-housewives are spreading the word about a "new femininity" which encourages women to stay at home and embrace motherhood. The anonymous letter makes for heartbreaking reading. "Dragging myself from job to job, I used to feel so useless. I wanted to be special but didn't know how -- I was neither fish nor flesh." For this angst-ridden career woman, salvation finally came in the full-bellied shape of motherhood. "With my husband and daughter at my side, I'm so happy and free now," she proclaims.
Right to carry v. right to know: This month's Non-Compos Mentis Award winner Mark M. Alexander - In the interest of public safety, Trejbal and the Roanoke Times would have done a fine public service by launching, say, an Internet database listing paroled violent felons, stalkers and murderers. Instead, however, he went after what he apparently considers an equally dangerous lot. ...After obtaining a list of all 135,789 Virginians who are permitted to carry a concealed weapon, Trejbal and his employer posted them in a searchable online database.
