Upfront - Election 2008 & Super Tuesday

On the eve of Super Tuesday the flawed Caucus and Primaries up to this point have eliminated all but one "Christian Conservative," and yet even Governor Huckabee can be considered questionable on several platforms. So, will we be left with voting for a RINO vs. a socialist (masking as a Democrat)? If that is the case, voting for a Republican Presidential Candidate may mean only slowing down the "progressive" movement towards a cradle-to-grave-nanny-state of socialism.

He that has ears to hear, let him hear what is happening with regards to Election 2008, America's Christian Heritage vs. "The Wall of Separation of Church and State," Violating "the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God" in public and "higher" education, same-sex, Transgenders, pedophilia, pornography, abortion, cloning, embryonic stem cells, the "Mainstream" Media (Biased News and Entertainment), Immigration & English, America's sovereignty, The War on Terror (caliphate), Constitutional violations (beginning with undermining the First and Second Amendments), ignorance and apathy towards our Republic, Electoral college, etc.

All promoting a cradle-to-grave-nanny-state of socialism with freedom restrictions mandated by a "politically correct" government replacing the liberty that comes from God.

Thomas Jefferson: "God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are a gift of God? That they are not to violated but with His wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever." - "Yes, we did produce a near perfect Republic. But will they keep it, or will they, in the enjoyment of plenty, lose the memory of freedom? Material abundance without character is the surest way to destruction."

Taxes, Social Security, Medicare, healthcare, environmental (sustainable development deception), all under the "politically correct" definition of the "common good" which violates individual Rights and thwarts the traditional family and the values that derive from this very core foundation of God's design. This "common good" is not as James Madison envisioned - “The aim of every political constitution is, or ought to be, first to obtain for rulers men who possess most wisdom to discern, and most virtue to pursue, the common good...” No, the new and improved (redefined) politically correct common good lacks the virtue, and courage necessary for righteous justice by implementing special rights under the guise of "hate crimes legislation" for those who violate "the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God," and relying on failing government programs which mandate taxpayers to fund.

Edmund Burke: "What is liberty without...virtue? It is...madness, without restraint. Men are qualified for liberty in exact proportion to their disposition to put moral chains upon their own appetites."

John Adams: "The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue; and if this cannot be inspired into our people in a greater measure than they have it now, they may change their rulers and the forms of government, but they will not obtain a lasting liberty. They will only exchange tyrants and tyrannies." ..."Statesmen...may plan and speculate for Liberty, but it is Religion and Morality alone, which can establish the Principles upon which Freedom can securely stand.... The only foundation of a free Constitution, is pure Virtue, and if this cannot be inspired into our People, in a great Measure, than they have it now, They may change their Rulers, and the forms of Government, but they will not obtain a lasting Liberty."

We cannot say we weren't warned. American citizens as a whole appear to be complacent and apathetic towards who we elect and how they govern us. We will leave our children wondering how liberty and justice were replaced by "politically correct" elected officials who prefer a village or global concept (Proverbs 14:12) over the natural family (God's design) as the basis for a "civil" society.

If "politically correct" diplomacy doesn't work against the onslaught of the Islamic caliphate, will we be able to continue to enjoy our mp3, MTV, American Idol and the Hollywood movies which have "progressively" degenerated into "funny lust fests?" Will we be left wondering why, knowing what was required, was to heed the warnings and prefer virtue over complacency. Will we then appreciate the  Patriot's Declaration?

Red Skelton - Pledge of Allegiance 1969 (Word by word - audio) - "...Government is the people, and its from the people to the leaders, not from the leaders to the people." (See also: RedSkelton.com)

Righteousness (continued)

Does the power of God follow the preacher, or does the power of God follow the Word of God that is preached? - (Luke 4:32, 1 Thessalonians 1:5) Does the preacher convert sinners unto righteousness or does the Holy Spirit convict and convince by revealing the Word of God which the preacher is called to preach? (John 16:7-13, John 17:14-20, Romans 10)

As we read the Word of God it may be "natural" to quickly read over and take lightly words such as "righteousness," but if we take into account how the Word of God uses and emphasizes "righteousness," it becomes clear that the commandments and holiness are the result of obedience to God's righteousness.

I must preach the Kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent. (Jesus - Luke 4:43)

As You have sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. (Jesus - John 17:18)

What is the Kingdom of God Jesus preached? Was it a "religion" (with traditions that nullify the Word of God - Mark 7:13, Matthew 15:9), or a "kingdom?" John the Baptist did not preach "repent for a new religion is at hand?" (Isaiah 55:11 - So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.)

But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness...(Matthew 16:33a) ...For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. (Romans 14:17)

There is God's righteousness and there is the righteousness of men. (Isaiah 64:5-6) There is fruit of the flesh and fruit of the Holy Spirit. (Galatians 5:13-26)

True meaningful satisfying peace and joy do not come from our labor or from the possessions we may acquire, they are products only of righteousness, of and through the Holy Spirit.

Proverbs 14:12  - There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
(John 1:23b  - Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. - Isaiah 40:3)

Proverbs 16:25  - There is a way that seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
(Isaiah 55:8-9  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. - 1 Corinthians 2:10-16)

Proverbs 21:2  - Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD ponders the hearts. (Matthew 15:7-9)

Proverbs 21:8  - The way of man is froward and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right.
(froward - a primitive root; to turn about or over; by implication, to change, overturn, return, pervert: - ETH: As in being "politically correct?")

Righteousness (continued)

Galatians 3:3  - Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Romans 8:1,4,5,8-10, 12-14  - There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. ...That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. ...So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. ...Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

John 15:4-6  - Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. (Now, read once again the parable of the sower in Matthew 13.)

Matthew 13:23 - But he that received seed into the good ground is he that hears the word, and understands it; which also bears fruit, and brings forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Galatians 5:17-18 - For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Romans 8:4  - That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 Timothy 1:14  - That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwells in us.

James 4:5  - Do ye think that the scripture says in vain, The spirit that dwells in us lusts to envy?

1 John 3:24  - And he that keeps his commandments dwells in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit which he has given us.

1 John 4:13  - Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he has given us of His Spirit.

2 Timothy 1:9  - Who has saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began...

Take Action - (Alerts, Action, Petitions)

Vote tomorrow! As every sports team knows, the draft (primaries) determines the seasons ahead.

If we prefer leaders who aspire unto God's righteousness over secular leaders who subscribe to being "politically correct," who are the majority of voters you know aligned with? How will they vote in 2008? How will they vote in 2010 and 2012? He that has ears to hear, let him hear. Will they come to know, understand, and appreciate the Republic America's founders established for us?

Does the power of God follow the believer, or does the power of God follow the Word of God that is preached? (Luke 4:32, 1 Thessalonians 1:5) Does the believer convert sinners unto righteousness or does the Holy Spirit convict and convince by revealing the Word of God which the believer is called to preach? (John 16:7-13, John 17:14-20, Romans 10)

"Don't discuss politics or religion" ---- if you are "politically correct." The facts prevent promoting a "pie-in-the-sky" fantasy world where taxes and diplomacy are the answers to all our problems.

Federal court denies appeal in David Parker Civil Rights case on homosexual programs in elementary school. (MassResistance.org) Appeals Judge issues outrageous ruling embracing homosexual "tolerance" lessons, ignoring Constitutional religious guarantees. Uses notorious "1999 Curriculum Frameworks" in argument. Parker's lawyers already preparing to appeal case to US Supreme Court

Christian Photographer Hauled before Commission for Refusing Same-Sex Job By John Jalsevac (LifeSite.net) New Mexico, January 30, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The case of a Christian photographer who refused to photograph a same-sex "commitment ceremony", was heard before the New Mexico Human Rights Division on Monday. A same-sex couple asked Elaine Huguenin, co-owner with her husband of Elane Photography, to photograph a "commitment ceremony" that the two women wanted to hold. Huguenin declined because her Christian beliefs are in conflict with the message communicated by the ceremony. The same-sex couple filed a complaint with the New Mexico Human Rights Division, which is now trying Elane Photography under state antidiscrimination laws for sexual orientation discrimination.

Income Redistribution: (PatriotPost.us) The Laffer curve Arthur Laffer is an economist probably best known for theorizing the “Laffer curve,” which depicts the reality that when taxes are cut, federal revenues increase. It is a concept that has completely eluded the demagogues on Capitol Hill for years. The reasons for this are relatively simple: Those with higher incomes have more to gain from avoiding taxes and spend money looking for ways to do so, while those with lower incomes have less flexibility in that area. Therefore, when tax rates for “the rich” are reduced, less effort is made to avoid taxes, while more money is made to begin with, yielding higher tax revenues for the federal government. Democrats, of course, operate on the class warfare platform and want to raise taxes on people with higher incomes and lower taxes on those with lower incomes. When Ronald Reagan took office, the top marginal rate was 70 percent. Today, it is 35 percent. The top one percent of income earners paid less than 18 percent of all federal income taxes in 1981, whereas today, the same group pays nearly 40 percent of all income taxes. Facts are stubborn things. Democrats were responsible for the 70-percent rate and likely wouldn’t mind a return there. One result of such economic nonsense would be far less revenue to the federal government. More important, it will harm the economy by redistributing wealth and stifling job creation. Look on the bright side—at least Chuck Schumer would be pleased.
