Barack Hussein Obama - "...he
is a perfect storm of the culture of narcissism"
(Click links for complete columns)
Upfront - Barack Hussein Obama - "...he is a perfect storm of the culture of narcissism, the cult of celebrity, and a secular society in which fathers (both the holy and the secular) have been increasingly marginalized from the lives of a generation of young Americans." ...Thus, in post-Judeo-Christian America, the sports club is the new church. Global warming is the new religion. Vegetarianism is the new sacrament. Hooking up, the new prayer. Talk therapy, the new witnessing. Tattooing and piercing, the new sacred symbols and rituals. And apparently, Barack Obama is the new messiah. PatriotPost.us 08-08 Digest
The Real Barack Obama (Ron Kessler) Michelle Obama’s comment that, for the first time in her adult life, she feels proud of America helps crystallize who Barack Obama is. ...it is difficult to imagine that Michelle Obama would publicly twice make such a statement suggesting disdain for America unless she felt it comported with her husband’s views. Equally important, her statement aligns perfectly with the hate-America views of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama’s minister, friend, and sounding board for more than two decades.
Obama's Gloomy Big-Government Vision (Lawrence Kudlow) Obama unveiled much of his economic strategy in Wisconsin this week: He wants to spend $150 billion on a green-energy plan. He wants to establish an infrastructure investment bank to the tune of $60 billion. He wants to expand health insurance by roughly $65 billion. He wants to "reopen" trade deals, which is another way of saying he wants to raise the barriers to free trade. He intends to regulate the profits for drug companies, health insurers, and energy firms. He wants to establish a mortgage-interest tax credit. He wants to double the number of workers receiving the earned-income tax credit (EITC) and triple the EITC benefit for minimum-wage workers. The Obama spend-o-meter is now up around $800 billion. And tax hikes on the rich won't pay for it. It's the middle class that will ultimately shoulder this fiscal burden in terms of higher taxes and lower growth. This isn't free enterprise. It's old-fashioned-liberal tax, and spend, and regulate. It's plain ol' big government.
Will Obama be our second anti-American president? Sher Zieve ...what will the country get with an Obama presidency? Let's take a look.28 fundamental beliefs of the Founding Fathers (The 5000 Year Leap) Principle 1 - The only reliable basis for sound government and just human relations is Natural Law. Natural law is God's law. There are certain laws which govern the entire universe, and just as Thomas Jefferson said in the Declaration of Independence, there are laws which govern in the affairs of men which are "the laws of nature and of nature's God."
Without a Heritage, every generation starts over. (See also Warnings.) Does the voting public know the difference between a Republic and a Democracy? Does the voting public understand the reasoning why the Electoral College was established? Does the voting public know of the Patriot's Declaration? Does the voting public know of Thomas Paine? Google them, so it cannot be construed as propaganda.
"Society in every state is a blessing, but government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one; for when we suffer or are exposed to the same miseries by a government, which we might expect in a country without government, our calamity is heightened by reflecting that we furnish the means by which we suffer." Thomas Paine (Common Sense, 1776) Reference: Thomas Paine: Collected Writings , Foner ed., Library of America (6)

“The problems facing America—unsustainable entitlements, broken borders, nuclearizing enemies—require tough solutions, not gaseous Sesame Street platitudes.” —Mark Steyn
Hillarycare Is Not the Answer Star Parker - Suppose I tell you that the government will design a product and make you buy it. If you say no thanks, that's too bad. The government will decide what you need and what you will buy. If you say you can't afford it, we'll send in government investigators to check, and if they conclude indeed you can't afford it, we'll tax your neighbors and make them subsidize you so you can pay for it. We'll set up a government bureaucracy to monitor and make sure you're cooperating. If they discover you haven't made the purchase, they'll go to your employer and have your wages garnisheed.

Teachers Abuse Six Times More Than Priests - The Associated Press ran a story about the epidemic of sexual abuse among America’s education system. A startling figure found in their latest investigation shows documentation on over 2,500 educators being punished for sexual actions over the last 5 years. Unfortunately, most abuse cases go unreported, often ending with no action taking against the abuser. Some cases also can’t be proven, and it is speculated that abusers often have several victims. After a 7-month investigation, 2570 educators were disciplined for allegations of sexual misconduct from 2001 through 2005, or a yearly average of about 514. Of these, 1800 cases involved young people, and more than 80% of those were students. About half of the educators punished by their states were also convicted of crimes stemming from their misconduct.
Hispanic Americans to Rally for Marriage at August 2008 Democrat National Convention “For far too long the votes of Latinos have been taken for granted,” said Rev. Sam Rodriguez, Jr., President of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference and Advisory Board Member of the Alliance for Marriage Foundation. “As our numbers grow, our influence is growing, and it is time for leaders of both parties to put protecting marriage and strong family values at the center of their agenda. Candidates like to tout ‘family values’ on the stump, but then toss our values aside when they get to Washington. We’re not going to tolerate that any more.”
Netherlands forces Homosexual "Marriage" on Aruba Aruba's government lawyer: "Gay marriage is against the civil code and Aruban morals."
David Parker hits home run debating pro-homosexual activist on major Boston talk radio show (90 minute audio). Heated discussion of the "gay relationship" agenda in elementary school, on WBZ evening call-in show last week, with an activist from Lexington. We've listened to - and been in - a lot of debates on radio (and TV) between pro-family people and homosexual activists. This is the gold standard of how to get it done without compromising. David Parker played offence from start to finish. Very intelligent and right to the point. Getting the Facts Straight on Pro-Gay Pamphlet A joint project by the National Education Association (NEA) and the American Psychological Association (APA) is giving parents 16,000 new reasons to question the agenda of national teachers' union leaders. The NEA and APA have partnered to produce a booklet titled, "Just the Facts about Sexual Orientation and Youth," which they plan to distribute to every superintendent in America's 16,000 school districts. Among the so-called "facts" in the 24-page document is the opinion, that homosexuality is "a normal expression of human sexuality." The booklet also warns teachers not to discuss "transformational ministries" that suggest homosexuality is a condition that can be changed.
School choice expands, kids benefit More and more children are benefiting from school choice, Heritage education expert Dan Lips writes in a new in-depth analysis. Millions of students are taking advantage of programs like charter schools, public school choice and vouchers, reflecting a dramatic improvement in education options over the past two decades.
While men slept (DL Foster) The parable of the wheat and the tares, as told by Jesus reveals quite a bit about the church’s current quandary with unrepentant homosexuals or those who comprise the gay christian movement. The major areas of contention within the church are: (a) welcoming/affirming/fellowshipping with unrepentant religious homosexuals-(b) interpretation of scripture dealing with sexual immorality and (c) the influence of unrepentant homosexuals in leadership and music.
Kennedy Introduces A Handgun Ban In Congress. Again: In 1974, Senator Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) said that the "manufacture and sale of handguns should be terminated. Existing handguns should be acquired by the states." Since then, Kennedy has been the most anti-handgun member of the Senate, having introduced legislation to ban handguns, register handguns, license handgun owners, ban ammunition, authorize the Consumer Products Safety Commission to prohibit the manufacture of firearms and ammunition, and impose waiting periods on handgun purchases.
08-07 Digest Biofuels wreck the environment To the surprise of absolutely no one who greets climate change alarmism with even a hint of skepticism, two new scientific studies have concluded that biofuels do more harm than good. Both studies were published in the peer-reviewed journal Science. According to the first study, which was conducted by ecologists from Princeton and the Woods Hole Research Center, biofuel advocates have made massive accounting errors by ignoring renewable energy’s “hidden costs.” For example, there is 2.7 times more carbon stored in plant material than the atmosphere, and massive amounts of this plant material would have to be burned off to make room to grow biofuel crops. Moreover, plant material serves as a sort of “carbon sink,” absorbing large amounts of CO2. By removing trees to make room for biofuel crops, the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere will only increase. The study ultimately concludes that when one considers production costs, the amount of greenhouse-gas emissions from ethanol over a period of 30 years will be twice as high as from gasoline, and that it will take 167 years for ethanol to “pay back” the carbon released by making land suitable for biofuel crops. The second study was conducted by the University of Minnesota and the Nature Conservancy, which decided to take an even closer look at the issue of “carbon debt.” The conclusion? It would take between 48 and 93 years for the United States to bring corn ethanol to parity with gasoline as a net emitter of carbon. In Malaysia and Indonesia, where palm oil is created for European biodiesel, deforestation exceeds 1.5 percent annually, resulting in a carbon debt of 423 years. Of course this news comes as Congress has just passed an energy bill providing huge federal subsidies and tax credits for corn ethanol research and development. One would think that if the politicians in Washington really cared about safe, cost-efficient, environmentally friendly energy, they would take another look at nuclear power. There’s nothing to be afraid of—just ask the French.
Thomas Sowell - “Journalists cannot serve two masters. To the extent that they take on the task of suppressing information or biting their tongue for the sake of some political agenda, they are betraying the trust of the public and corrupting their own profession. It is bad enough that politicians betray their followers as a matter of expediency. It is real chutzpah when they demand that journalists betray the public trust as a matter of principle, for the benefit of politicians. Some journalists—too many, in fact—do jump on the bandwagon of particular candidates or particular political agendas, and end up filtering and spinning the news as a result. Those who are on the ‘global warming’ bandwagon, for example, endlessly repeat that the polar ice cap in the arctic is shrinking—while filtering out the fact that the polar ice cap in the Antarctic is growing... Whether one is for or against the ‘global warming’ crusade or for or against Democrats or Republicans in the White House, the truth is the truth—and filtering out facts is betraying the public that has turned to the media for information. It is legitimate to argue for or against those who believe that global warming justifies one policy or another. That is an honest expression of opinion. But filtering the facts is not. Some in the media seem to think that a noble cause justifies withholding facts on the other side.”
Two fatal errors of modern liberalism (Dennis Campbell) Two primary errors of modern liberalism are a fundamental misunderstanding of human nature and an inability to learn from history. ...The likes of Barack Obama seem to think that simply sitting down with one's enemies, having a cup of tea and looking for common ground, is all that is necessary for peace. This is the same inclination that led Neville Chamberlain, prime minister of England, to advocate the appeasement of Adolf Hitler in 1938.
Is Christian Tolerance Tolerable Anymore? Jeff Lukens - As Christians, we know that God hates sin, but is he tolerant of it?
Morality in Media (MIM): In June 2002, MIM launched the www.ObscenityCrimes.org website, where citizens can make complaints about possible violations of federal Internet obscenity laws. The site was created primarily for citizens who are unintentionally exposed to pornography on the Internet or whose children are exposed to pornography on the Internet. On Saturday, February 23, the ObscenityCrimes.org website recorded its 70,000th citizen complaint.

He that has ears to hear, let him hear what is happening with regards to Election 2008, America's Christian Heritage vs. "The Wall of Separation of Church and State," Violating "the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God" in public and "higher" education, same-sex, Transgenders, pedophilia, pornography, abortion, cloning, embryonic stem cells, the "Mainstream" Media (Biased News and Entertainment), Immigration & English, America's sovereignty, The War on Terror (caliphate), Constitutional violations (beginning with undermining the First and Second Amendments), ignorance and apathy towards our Republic, Electoral college, etc. All promoting a cradle-to-grave-nanny-state of socialism with freedom restrictions mandated by a "politically correct" government replacing the liberty that comes from God. "I fear we are too much concerned with material things to remember that our real strength lies in spiritual values." President Harry S. Truman, 1946
"No other theory is adequate to explain or comprehend the Declaration of Independence. It is the product of the spiritual insight of the people. We live in an age of science and of abounding accumulation of material things. These did not create our Declaration. Our Declaration created them. The things of the spirit come first. Unless we cling to that, all our material prosperity, overwhelming though it may appear, will turn to a barren scepter in our grasp. If we are to maintain the great heritage which has been bequeathed to us, we must be like-minded as the fathers who created it. We must not sink into a pagan materialism. We must cultivate the reverence which they had for the things that are holy. We must follow the spiritual and moral leadership which they showed. We must keep replenished, that they may glow with a more compelling flame, the altar fires before which they worshiped." Calvin Coolidge, July 5, 1926, Philadelphia, PA
