Although John McCain may not be the ideal candidate, do American citizens, especially those who care enough to vote, have ears to hear what the Democrat presidential candidates are proposing? Both offer socialism, liberty as mandated or regulated by the government, not the liberty that comes from God. Is the Declaration of Independence of no value in 2008? Does character in our elected officials matter at all? Can Hillary continue to "misspeak" (the politically correct term for lying), and remain a top contender without consequence? Can Barack really believe that American voters are gullible enough to be duped into being deceived when he says all these Pastor Wright "snippets" are "out of context and amount to a caricature?"

When members of the San Diego City Council named March 13 as "ACLU Day," they claimed the American Civil Liberties Union had a rich history in the city. It's certainly an expensive history. The ACLU sued the city and won $900,000 in taxpayer money over a historic cross at the Mount Soledad Veterans' Memorial. The ACLU also pressured San Diego to evict the Boy Scouts from a city park. “Any city that decides to give recognition to a radical, extremist organization who has cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in expenses against taxpayers of that city is unthinkable," said Brad Dacus, president of the Pacific Justice Institute. Since its founding in 1920, the ACLU has been an unrelenting censor of religion, according to Mike Johnson, senior legal counsel with the Alliance Defense Fund. “They have literally waged a war on things like parental authority," he said. "They have declared war on traditional marriage and all public expression of Christianity and religious faith.”

Gay Voters Turn Out At Polls Democratic candidates for president have gone on the record in favor of virtually the full slate of items on the homosexual agenda, and apparently it’s because gay men and lesbians turn out at the polls. ,,,The study showed that 84% of homosexual men and 78% of lesbians voted in 2006.

The American Citizen: From a liberty that came from God to "progressively" becoming a drone of "politically correct" regulations and violations of "the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God." What are the American service men and woman fighting for if the American Way of Life is being squandered away by secular progressive liberals as an apparent increasing number of "Americans" watch this unfold on the news and oblivious to all the warnings. BISHOP HARRY JACKSON: "What is God's Dream For America?" and "Will America Serve the LORD or Baal?" by Bishop Harry Jackson (Mar 30, 2008) The Lord spoke to me in late 2007 that the nation would have to choose whether it would serve the Lord or Baal. Israel had to make a choice in 1 Kings 19 at Mount Carmel. This is the same kind of choice Israel faced in 1 Samuel 9 when it chose Saul as its first king. Struck by this word, I asked the Lord for confirmation. Much to my surprise, Bishop John Giminez, founder of Rock Church and visionary behind Washington for Jesus in 1980, had a very similar visitation from the Lord. He said that the Lord had shown him that America was going to have to make a clear choice in 2008 between right and wrong, good and evil, the Lord’s vision for America or our own will. Essentially, we will have to have either a divine revolution or we will have spiritual ruin.

But he then told a questioner that he believes Jews and Muslims who live moral lives are just as much "children of God" as he is. The Audacity of Rhetoric Thomas Sowell - It is painful to watch defenders of Barack Obama tying themselves into knots trying to evade the obvious....There is no evidence that Obama ever sought to educate himself on the views of people on the other end of the political spectrum, much less reach out to them. He reached out from the left to the far left. That's bringing us all together? Is "divisiveness" defined as disagreeing with the agenda of the left? Who on the left was ever called divisive by Obama before that became politically necessary in order to respond to revelations about Jeremiah Wright? ...Why should young blacks be expected to work to meet educational standards, or even behavioral standards, if they believe the message that all their problems are caused by whites, that the deck is stacked against them? That is ultimately a message of hopelessness, however much audacity it may have.

Obama, Let's Have the Race 'Talk' By Larry Elder - In his Big Speech defending his 20-year membership in a church headed by a racist, anti-Semitic, sexist, conspiracy-believing pastor, Democratic candidate Barack Obama says America needs a frank "talk" about race. For crying out loud, we talk incessantly about race! Pick up a newspaper -- any newspaper -- or turn on cable news and wait a few minutes. Race -- usually something about how blacks feel, how blacks think, how blacks and whites see things differently, yada, blah, etc. -- comes up.  ...American blacks live in a post-slavery, post-Jim Crow world, with a growing, thriving black middle class. We live in a country where, for the most part, hard work, focus, ability and some luck determine success. Why, then, the continued anger, negativity, and finger-pointing, in a country to which much of the world -- if it could -- would happily relocate? So, let that talk begin.

Heller, a Supreme Court case that will be decided in the next few months, will determine whether “the People” mentioned in our Constitution really means “the Government” when it comes to the right to keep and bear arms. The Justices heard arguments last Tuesday. The Second Amendment to the Constitution states: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Using the arguments posited by attorneys for the District of Columbia, this really means only the militia should be armed, not the people. Of course, this argument ignores the plain language of the Amendment, the historical context of the word “militia” (every able-bodied adult male) and several hundred years of practice and precedent.

The research team determined that the more strident the political dissention of OIF reflected in U.S. media stories or polls (read: “Pollaganda”), the more frequent were attacks against civilians and U.S. military forces in Iraq. Notably, in areas with greater access to international news media, the quantifiable increases were greater. The report, “Is There an ‘Emboldenment’ Effect? Evidence from the Insurgency in Iraq,” concludes that attacks increased between seven and ten percent following “high-mention weeks,” like the two before the November 2006 midterm elections, when Leftist political rhetoric was at full steam. ...I penned an essay that pointedly condemned Democrats for aiding and abetting the enemy.
