Obama Is No Joshua By Cal Thomas Some insight into Obama's "Christianity" comes from an interview he gave in 2004 to Chicago Sun-Times religion editor Cathleen Falsani for her book, "The God Factor: Inside the Spiritual Lives of Public People." "I'm rooted in the Christian tradition," said Obama. He then adds something most Christians will see as universalism: "I believe there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people."
Obama's life story is a Republican one Star Parker - If we measured Obama by the test of "do as I do and not as I say" this first black presidential nominee would be a Republican and not a Democrat.
Joan Veon Tells 'Institute on the Constitution' Group Christian Faith Must be Used to Fight United Nations 'Sustainable Feudalism' Ideas Veon said that according to the U.N.'s "sustainable feudalism" ideas, "you and I are responsible for pollution. We are subordinate to the earth and all other living creatures. All of this is a perversion of God's Word and our Constitutional principles." To fight "sustainable feudalism," Veon said: "We must move to sustainable faith - God's sustainable faith. That is the only way to live today on planet earth. The Lord is God. He created the heavens and the earth...That is Who the real Lord of the earth is. We must understand this." In her talk, Veon also included important research information regarding: The components of feudalism; the control of money; the nation-state before 1945; the U.S. Constitution vs. the U.N. Charter; international bankers; the British royal family; environmentalism.
Death by a Thousand Taxes - Whaddya get for all these labors? Somewhere near 75 percent of all earnings get taxed away. I’m serious. When you add up all the fed, state, sales, gas, liquor, travel and Lord knows what else in taxes fees and tolls you come up some where near 75%. All this makes me amongst the “privileged few”. Don’t forget to count the cruelest tax of all—the hidden inflation tax. We all pay this one, presently running in double digits. Long ago, people cringed at the thought of having a “socialist” government. Denmark, Sweden and Norway were paying exorbitant taxes of 60 to 70 percent. Now we are there. Some think it is moral and proper to seize property from some citizens and redistribute it to others. That is properly called socialism or collectivism. Capitalism is another story entirely. The American dream was built upon individual success. The American dream limited the state! The American nightmare is now an unlimited state.
There
Goes the Neighborhood The heartland is poised to get
some religious heartburn, courtesy of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
and mega-donor George Soros. The organization best known for suing its way to
Christian suppression has its eyes on some prime conservative real estate in its
$335 million local expansion. Knowing that the biggest battles may soon be
fought on the smallest scales, these agents of social injustice plan to "build a
civil liberties infrastructure in the middle of the country," bringing with it a
radical agenda of homosexual rights, unlimited abortion, the extinction of the
traditional family, and secularism. Hoping to add new offices in the
battleground states of Michigan, Texas, Florida, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana,
New Mexico, and Tennessee, the ACLU has already raised the majority of the
funding needed to accomplish its national campaign. With overflowing bank
accounts, taxpayer dollars from attorney fees in Establishment Clause cases, and
offices in key red states, the ACLU will be a formidable force. The
organization's executive director, Anthony Romero, wasn't coy about the far
Left's intent. "If Republicans lose control of Congress and the White House, we
can be sure the religious right will be much more active on the state level--our
work will be critical there." By "our work," Romero must have been referring to
the ACLU's efforts to persecute Christians and bully Americans into abandoning
their moral beliefs. Now that Soros aims on bringing legal intimidation to our
backyards, it is vital that we respond by stepping up our efforts. 1
Gay Activists Reiterate Strategy to Redefine Marriage by Jennifer Mesko, managing editor - State courts and legislatures targeted en route to national acceptance. Nine leading homosexual-activist groups are reiterating their strategy to redefine marriage across the nation. And they're getting plenty of funding along the way. In an online alert, they advise same-sex couples: "Don’t go suing right away. Most lawsuits will likely set us all back. There are other ways to fight which are more likely to win. "The fastest way to win the freedom to marry throughout America is by getting marriage through state courts and state legislatures. We need to start with states where we have the best odds of winning. When we’ve won in a critical mass of states, we can turn to Congress and the federal courts." One of the men with the money is multi-millionaire software mogul Tim Gill, a homosexual activist who has reshaped Colorado's political landscape and is at work across the nation.
Homosexual Activists Draw Battle Lines
A
how-to manual for forcing same-sex "marriage" on all 50 states was just
unleashed on the ACLU's website. The strategy, which was outlined in a
succinct six-page memo called "Make Change, Not Lawsuits," urges couples who
marry in California next week to proceed with caution. Homosexuals recognize
that their movement to marry does not have the broad support of the American
people. Instead of bringing lawsuits in every corner of the country, groups
like the Human Rights Campaign, GLADD, Lambda Legal and others, ask
homosexuals to wait for state legislatures to tackle the issue. To the
question of whether couples should sue their home states and employers to
recognize their unions, the memo says no. "[It] unnecessarily angers a public
whose support we ultimately want to have... Bad rulings will make it much more
difficult for us to win marriage, and it will certainly make it take much
longer." Like us, this coalition recognizes that everything is riding on the
California marriage amendment. This is one battle that both sides cannot
afford to lose. Get involved in preserving marriage.

Teen Suicide - Suicides among young people continue to be a serious problem. Each year in the U.S., thousands of teenagers commit suicide. Suicide is the third leading cause of death for 15-to-24-year-olds, and the sixth leading cause of death for 5-to-14-year-olds. Teenagers experience strong feelings of stress, confusion, self-doubt, pressure to succeed, financial uncertainty, and other fears while growing up. For some teenagers, divorce, the formation of a new family with step-parents and step-siblings, or moving to a new community can be very unsettling and can intensify self-doubts. For some teens, suicide may appear to be a solution to their problems and stress. ...Parents should be aware of the following signs of adolescents who may try to kill themselves:

Political Correctness: Whose Bright Idea Was That? by Heidi Swander - So in American society today, political correctness (PC) is a masking term for an ideology known as "cultural Marxism," that is, Marxism translated from economic into cultural terms. As such, PC "seeks to alter virtually all the rules, formal and informal, that govern relations among people and institutions," according to the FCF book. ...Now their revolution goal was to undermine the Christian family. Their main weapons for this endeavor were curriculums created for college classrooms and for Hollywood. These curriculums were "anti-Christian to the core -- anti-family and especially anti-father," Botkin said. "They did a complete cultural end-run and now we have a society that is crumbling, confused, hostile to Christianity." "Very few Americans realize that political correctness is in fact Marxism in a different set of clothes," the Free Congress Foundation (FCF) writes in its publication. "Most Americans do not realize that they, through their institutions, are being led by social revolutionaries who think in terms of the continuing destruction of the existing social order in order to create a new one. They now control the public institutions in the United States. Their 'quiet revolution,' beginning with the counter-culture revolution of their youth, is nearing completion." According to the FCF, when cultural Marxists gain power, they "lay penalties on white men and others who disagree with them and give privileges to the groups they favor. Affirmative action is an example." Botkin believes it's not too late to save our society if we are willing to stand up to and against this onslaught by countering it with truth. Call homosexuality a sin; expose abortion as murder; identify affirmative action as reverse discrimination - and do these things in public where the people will hear you. But doing so may mean enduring ridicule, bad press, persecution, Botkin warns.

Viral Video on Immigration Costs By Amanda Carpenter - Video testimony from a Florida hospital administrator about the millions of tax dollars spent providing health care for illegal aliens is spreading like wildfire on the internet. Last April, Carol Plato, director of services from Martin Memorial Medical Hospital, told members of Florida’s House Committee on State Affairs about the extreme financial burdens illegal immigrants have imposed on her hospital. The Florida House of Representatives posted video from the day’s testimony and later an immigration enforcement advocate clipped her segment and uploaded it to YouTube, where it’s received almost 400,000 views to date. ...Below is the video and transcript of Plato’s testimony
Warfront with Jihadistan: Intelligence report For approximately half of the U.S. population, it is an article of faith that “Bush lied, people died.” The tired clichè was making the rounds again this week after the Select Committee on Intelligence published a new report titled, “Intelligence Activities Relating to Iraq.” The report was formally released by the committee’s chairman, Sen. John D. Rockefeller IV (D-WV), who said it was further proof that President Bush and his administration had “repeatedly presented intelligence as fact when it was unsubstantiated, contradicted or even nonexistent.” The report that Sen. Rockefeller is interpreting for the American people, however, disagrees with the senator. On the subject of Iraq’s nuclear weapons program, the report says that the president’s statements were “generally substantiated by intelligence community estimates.” On the subject of biological and chemical weapons, the president’s statements were “substantiated by intelligence information.” On weapons of mass destruction in general, statements were “generally substantiated by intelligence information.” On ballistic missiles capable of delivering WMDs, claims were “generally substantiated by intelligence information.” Even on the issue of Saddam Hussein’s ties to terrorism, the Bush administration’s claims were “substantiated by intelligence estimates.” Indeed, we can’t find the part where “Bush lied!” It seems that the only person who misrepresented a report was Mr. Rockefeller himself. If moonbats had ears, we would remind them that in the run-up to the Iraq War, Congress was reading the same intelligence reports as President Bush, a fact that nobody understands better than the Intelligence Committee Chairman himself. In 2002, Rockefeller said, “There has been some debate over how ‘imminent’ a threat Iraq poses. I do believe Iraq poses an imminent threat. I also believe after September 11, that question is increasingly outdated... To insist on further evidence could put some of our fellow Americans at risk. Can we afford to take that chance? I do not think we can.” Having made the right choice then, Rockefeller is trying to disown it now by pinning the “blame” on the Bush administration just as victory in Iraq is a near possibility. It doesn’t make much sense to us, but then, Democrats rarely do. When one considers that it is official documents like the one in question—not New York Times editorials—that historians will use to chronicle and judge President Bush’s actions, it seems likely that posterity will judge George W. Bush more kindly than his contemporaries have, and that Democrats will once again find themselves on the wrong side of history.
The real story about AIDS - In what should have been a groundbreaking news story, a lead researcher with the World Health Organization (WHO) reports what everyone else already knew: The AIDS virus is not a pandemic threat among heterosexuals outside of Africa, and the global alarmism about heterosexual spread of the virus was perhaps “misguided.” Worldwide high-risk groups still include homosexual males, sex workers and drug addicts who use needles. “It is astonishing how badly we have done with men who have sex with men. It is something that is going to have to be discussed much more rigorously,” said Dr. Kevin de Cock, head of WHO’s Aid’s department. “It is very unlikely there will be a heterosexual epidemic in other countries. Ten years ago a lot of people were saying there would be a generalized epidemic in Asia—China was the big worry with its huge population. That doesn’t look likely,” de Cock said. While we don’t recommend that readers Google the doctor’s name to look for his research, we would point out that this is another politically incorrect problem for the gender-disorientation movement—hence the lack of media coverage.

Will our descendants know moral virtue?
Without a heritage every generation starts over.
"The philosophy of the schoolhouse in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next." Abraham Lincoln
"Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom, and then lost it, have never known it again." Ronald Reagan

Nearly Half of Americans Have Contacted Congress
You can’t outsource fatherhood! By Mark Alexander - Consider these sobering statistics from the Centers for Disease Control, Department of Justice, Department of Health and Human Services and the Bureau of the Census: Children who live apart from their fathers will account for 40 percent of incarcerated adults, 63 percent of teen suicides, 70 percent of juveniles in state-operated institutions, 71 percent of high-school dropouts, 75 percent of children in chemical-abuse centers, 80 percent of rapists, 85 percent of youths in prison, 85 percent of children who exhibit behavioral disorders, and 90 percent of homeless and runaway children. About eight percent of children in married-couple homes live at or below poverty level, while almost 40 percent of children in homes without fathers live below poverty level. The latter group risks a much higher incidence of serious child abuse or neglect. Notably, the most common and severe wounds inflicted upon children are not necessarily physical. Children internalize emotional abuse and rejection—particularly rejection by their family of origin—parental separation or divorce, or dissociation from a chemically dependent or emotionally disabled parent.
