Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness... Matthew 6 (We are to personally and individually seek FIRST the Kingdom of God AND His Righteousness ahead of all else including self and politics. This does not mean however we are to hide our Light or refrain from "reproving the world of sin." Imagine if the Christians who created our Republic did so.)

Palin's Church in Alaska Believes that Jesus Christ Is God, Created the World and - GASP -- Helps Gay Sinners Overcome Homosexuality -- The alternative new media and old establishment media alike are swarming around startling revelations concerning Alaska Governor and GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin's church in Alaska.

Huff-And-Puff Post has learned that Wasilla Bible Church, where Palin worships, actually believes the Bible that Christ came to earth as a man, professed to be God Himself and forgave peoples' sins, and performed miracles that only God could do, like raising Lazarus from the dead. Wasilla doctrine teaches that this same Jesus now sits at the right hand of His Heavenly Father and intervenes in the lives of human beings.

"We have discovered that these brainwashed Christianists who cling to their religion and their guns also cling to fairy tales about Jesus as some prayer- answering 'savior,'" said Arianna Huff-and-Puff, publisher of the online Post. "It's one thing to believe that this unseen God-man Jesus helped create the world and performs miracles in the lives of his followers -- like healing drug addicts and transforming the hearts of hardened criminals. But believing that He can help also people leave homosexuality - what are they, nuts?!"

Associated Press reports ominously that Wasilla Bible Church supports programs to help men and women overcome homosexual desires. AP, consistent with its well-earned reputation as Always Politically-correct, chose to use the homosexual pejorative "Pray Away the Gay" to describe Wasilla's ex-"gay" ministry.

AP also quotes New York City-based homosexual gadfly Wayne Besen: "'I think gay Republicans are going to run away' if Palin supports efforts like the prayers to convert gays." Oh well, there go 2,014 homosexual Republican votes for McCain - while millions of pro-family, Sarah-Palin-loving Republicans applaud ministries that offer godly, healthy change to homosexual strugglers.

But Professional Gay Activist Besen is not deterred. Oblivious to the thousands of former homosexuals worldwide who live happy lives shorn of their false "gay" identity, he is now begging his followers for money so he can fly to Anchorage to protest a "Love Won Out" conference promoted by Wasilla Bible Church and sponsored by Focus on the Family. LWO conferences - a favorite target of homosexual militants and anti-"Christianists" everywhere -- feature "born again" former homosexuals sharing their hopeful testimonies.

"Speaking of 'Praying Away the Gay,' perhaps now is the time for concerned Americans to pray that Besen receives only enough funds to purchase a ONE-WAY ticket to Alaska," said Americans For Truth president Peter LaBarbera. "Sure, that's putting a heavy burden on Alaska's citizens, but the lower 48 states and Hawaii then would be free of Besen's tiresome anti-Christian bigotry and preposterous crusade to 'prove' the impossible: that homosexuals (like all other sinners) can't change."

Note to humorless secular media elites and homosexual activists: this release is a spoof, but the parts about AP's biased reporting and Besen's "anti- ex-gay" Alaskan Adventure are true.

Tell Congress to Let Drilling Restrictions Expire - "American Energy Freedom Day" is October 1. Americans across the country are clamoring for Congress to allow the development of American resources to provide American-made energy. A tremendous amount of resources, locked up by Congress at the direction of extremist environmental groups, will become available on October 1st. Not only will allowing these prohibitions to expire relieve prices at the pump, but it will also decrease America's vast imports from often unfriendly countries overseas, and instead provide much needed investment in the American economy through the creation of new American jobs. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid should refrain from playing election year games with an issue of such importance to the American people.

Pastors, Pulpits and Politics Our friends at the Alliance Defense Fund have decided to underscore hypocrisy of ironic proportions. They are receiving all kinds of pressure from media outlets today about their announced plans to encourage pastors to openly endorse candidates from the pulpits between now and the November 4 elections. Many churches have been doing far more than this in America's inner cities for years with nary a peep. But the media, attempting to enshrine a rigid doctrine of "separation of church and state," miss the point entirely. The core idea of "separation of church and state" has been to PROTECT the church FROM the state. The church is allowed, like any other private organization or group of people, to be as actively involved in what happens to our nation as any other entity. The federal law that bars such expression does not date to Thomas Jefferson and the founding, but to Lyndon B. Johnson and his effort to restrain a charity from opposing his electoral ambitions. The constitutionality of that political interference in the church has never been tested. That time may be at hand. California 'Corruption Footprint' Not Wanted in Middle America Traditional families, especially children, will be harmed if California forces its sexual deviance on the rest of America, says Linda Harvey of Mission America. Harvey joins other pro-family groups later this month in San Francisco to protest and expose the Folsom Street Fair, a public street orgy which includes sado- masochism, full nudity and homosexuality. They will also discuss the urgent need to pass Proposition 8, the ballot initiative upholding traditional marriage. The event falls on Sunday, September 28, following "Leather Pride Week." The alleged crowd estimate of 400,000 has no age restrictions, merely warnings about the "adult oriented nature" of activities. Last year, children were observed in the crowd where they could witness, for example, bare-bottomed men being whipped. "There's one big question: why?" said Harvey."How can Mayor Newsom, city officials and even House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (who represents San Francisco) tolerate disturbed people publicly displaying this deviance as police stand by and do nothing to stop it? ..."The 'corruption footprint' of California is staggering," Harvey stated. "Sadly, San Francisco is a dying city discarding its children. Its only hope is the 'offset' provided by the fresh air of California's traditional, caring families. Hopefully, these families will turn this state around and spare the rest of America from the polluting effects of California's moral decay." (Related: LISTEN to details of Linda Harvey's interview with Martha Kleder of Concerned Women for America, also featuring Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth.)

ACLU Donates $1.2 Million to Anti-Marriage California Proposition 8 - Despite the fact that 61 percent of Californians voted in 2000 to define marriage as being between one man and one woman, this May the California Supreme Court overturned this decision, implementing homosexual "marriage" in the state.

The Vision of the Left by Thomas Sowell - It is hardly surprising that young people prefer the political left. The only reason for rejecting the left's vision is that the real world in which we live is very different from the world that the left perceives today or envisions for tomorrow. ...Those who are insulated from that pain-- whether by being born into affluence or wealth, or shielded by the welfare state, or insulated by tenure in academia or in the federal judiciary-- can remain in a state of perpetual immaturity. Individuals can refuse to grow up, especially when surrounded in their work and in their social life by similarly situated and like-minded people. Even people born into normal lives, but who have been able through talent or luck to escape into a world of celebrity and wealth, can likewise find themselves in the enviable position of being able to choose whether to grow up or not. ...Should we be surprised that the strongest supporters of the political left are found among the young, academics, limousine liberals with trust funds, media celebrities and federal judges?  ...heirs is a world where we can just talk to opposing nations and work things out, instead of having to pour tons of money into military equipment to keep them at bay. The left calls this "change" but in fact it is a set of notions that were tried out by the Western democracies in the 1930s-- and which led to the most catastrophic war in history. For those who bother to study history, it was precisely the opposite policies in the 1980s-- pouring tons of money into military equipment-- which brought the Cold War and its threat of nuclear annihilation to an end. The left fought bitterly against that "arms race" which in fact lifted the burden of the Soviet threat, instead of leading to war as the elites claimed. Personally, I wish Ronald Reagan could have talked the Soviets into being nicer, instead of having to spend all that money. Only experience makes me skeptical about that "kinder and gentler" approach and the vision behind it.

Michelle Obama Promotes Fatherless, Motherless Families "The Barack Obama I know today is the same man I fell in love with 19 years ago," she said. "He's the same man who drove me and our new baby daughter home from the hospital 10 years ago this summer … determined to give her everything he'd struggled so hard for himself, determined to give her what he never had: the affirming embrace of a father's love." But the very next day, she promoted gay adoption at an LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered) luncheon.

Despite Strong Economic Growth, Newspapers Pitch Bad Times (CNSNews.com) – Although a recent federal report showed that the U.S. Gross Domestic Product grew at a strong 3.3 percent during the second quarter of fiscal year 2008, most of the top American newspapers reported that growth wrapped in dour analyses and bleak predictions about the economy. One expert from the conservative Heritage Foundation told CNSNews.com that the negative newspaper coverage of the GDP growth does not accurately describe the state of the economy.

Ten Myths About Budget Deficits and Debt (Heritage Foundation)

Democrat Deceptions about Oil So-called “clean energy,” wind and solar, provides barely one percent of the nation’s need for electrical power. It does so only because of the massive subsidies, like those for ethanol, the federal government provides, but Harry Reid could not resist characterizing the Bush administration as rife with “oil industry cronies.” He made no reference, however, to the Democrat’s agriculture cronies. As Graham points out, “Democrats gave ethanol a 40¢ per gallon government subsidy in 1978. In 1980, Democrats gave insured loans to build ethanol plants.” “Currently, the government subsidy is 51 cents per gallon through 2010. Last year, the government subsidy payout for ethanol was $3.3 Billion. The government subsidy will increase to $18.4 Billion in 2022. Ethanol is causing severe economic harm to the American economy, not even considering the increase in the cost of all food products made from corn.” This is occurring as Americans struggle to find the money to fill their gas tanks and many worry about the price of oil to heat their homes this winter.

Who Vetted Obama? Inspector Clouseau or Maxwell Smart? Don Feder - I'd like to know who vetted Barack Obama? Certainly not the millions who voted for him in the Democratic primaries, the party regulars who lined up solidly behind him, the mainstream media who catapulted a one-term, celebrity Senator into the presidential race, or the 50% of the electorate who currently say they’ll vote for him. There are enough skeletons in Obama’s closet to decorate Halloween Town. Other than his charisma and teleprompter talent, everything about him screams Red Alert.

What I Saw at the Two Conventions by Dennis Prager - I broadcasted my radio show from both the Democratic and Republican Conventions. Here are some observations:

...5. At the Democratic Convention, I spoke to a number of blacks, on the radio and privately, who predicted that if Barack Obama loses, most blacks will attribute the loss to racism, especially if McCain wins by a narrow margin. They did not even rule out the possibility of some rioting.

...10. After attending the Democratic Convention, the lack of blacks (and Hispanics) at the Republican Convention was jarring. Former RNC Chair Ken Mehlman made serious efforts to bring African-Americans into the party, but apparently to little avail. Given the troubled state of virtually every inner city governed by Democrats and the Democrats' opposition to school vouchers, one would think more blacks would at least give the Republicans a try. Not this year.

...11. For the first time in generations, one party's ticket has no military experience. It does, however, have two lawyers. And neither of the Republican nominees is a lawyer. These facts are not coincidental.

...12. After my debate with Air America's Thom Hartmann in Denver, a number of those present -- all Democrats -- commented on how surprised they were at how intellectual the arguments I, the conservative, offered were. This is only because, in general, most liberals see, hear or read conservative arguments far less often than conservatives see, hear and read liberal arguments.

EarsToHear.net Comment: Worse than flip-flopping is playing both sides of the fence: Barack Obama continues to answer questions and speak depending on what he thinks his present audience wishes to hear. His ever-changing positions on taxes, the surge, abortion, are but a few blatant examples of his apparent Soros/Geffen game plan. This is a "politically correct" deceptive tactic in order to gain votes from all American viewpoints. However, if elected, every American will find out exactly where he really stands on the issues, a true anti-Christian socialist that will nominate anti-Christian judges, concede America's sovereignty and power to the United Nations, and construct a cradle-to-grave-nanny-state of socialism where government is god. He will further diminish the free market in favor of more government regulations. As many voters consider the candidates qualifications in regards to the war on terror, the economy and taxes, energy crisis, healthcare, etc. are the voters neglecting the more important aspect of who the next president will nominate the Courts?

Pelosi, and Now Biden: VP-Nominee says Life Begins at Conception, but Won't "Impose" his Faith on Others After saying that Catholicism says that life begins at conception, Biden went on to say that there was "debate" in the Church about when life begins. ...

SBA List Statement on Biden's Caustic Comments - Senator Biden's comments were: "I hear all this talk about how the Republicans are going to work in dealing with parents who have both the joy, because there's joy to it as well, the joy and the difficulty of raising a child who has a developmental disability, who were born with a birth defect. Well guess what folks? If you care about it, why don't you support stem cell research?" ...Susan B. Anthony List President offered the following statement: "I am appalled by today's caustic comments by Senator Joe Biden," said Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. "Today Senator Biden outrageously implied that Americans who refuse to sacrifice innocent human life in the name of unproven, desperate attempts to cure our nation's ills through embryo-destructive research somehow don't really care about children. I am a mother of five children, one with a mental disability. The fact that Joe Biden questioned the compassion of parents like me - Governor Sarah Palin, among them - makes me sputter in disbelief."

Theological Dodgeball: Obama Retreats from "Pay Grade" Statement while "Catholic" Biden says Pro-Abortion Stance OK By Kathleen Gilbert - (LifeSiteNews.com) - Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama back-pedaled on Sunday when asked about his statement that it was "above my pay grade" to determine when a baby is eligible for human rights, and admitted that the remark was "too flip."

Obama had made the comment during a nationally-televised presidential forum at Saddleback Church of Orange County, where pastor Rick Warren invited both presidential nominees to answer questions impromptu before a Christian audience. When Warren asked Obama when a baby gets human rights, Obama answered, "I think that, whether you're looking at it from the theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity, you know, is above my pay grade."

Obama's statement has been the source of much derision from social conservatives, who have characterized it as a cowardly and sophistical dodge of a vital issue.

When George Stephanopoulos asked Obama on ABC's This Week about the answer, Obama said agreed with Stephanopoulos' suggestion that the answer was too flippant.

"Probably," Obama said. "Yes. I mean, what I intended to say is that, as a Christian, I have a lot of humility about understanding when does the soul enter into…"

"It goes back to Augustine," Stephanopoulos interjected, recalling Nancy Pelosi's defense of Obama's statement by claiming that, as a Catholic, she was able to find support for her pro-abortion views in the writings of St. Augustine.

"It does," Obama said. "It's a pretty tough question." Obama went on to explain that his "pay grade" comment was meant to highlight the religious nature of the issue: "All I meant to communicate was that I don't presume to be able to answer these kinds of theological questions." He admitted that "abortion is a moral issue," but said he does not think that the government should "criminalize" the choice to abort as the correct way to reduce abortions.

Transcript: Governor Palin's Weekly Radio Address by Sarah Palin - Senator McCain also promises to use the power of veto in defense of the public interest -- and as a chief executive, I can assure you it works. In a McCain-Palin administration, we'll pursue a pro-growth agenda focused on creating jobs and reducing the tax burden. And with a maverick in the White House, Republicans are going to reclaim our good name as the party of spending discipline. Our opponent in this election supports plans to raise taxes on income, payroll, investment income, business income, and altogether would increase the tax burden on the American people by hundreds of billions of dollars. But ask yourself: If you're trying to run a small business, or to keep your job at a plant, or keep a small farm in the family, how are you going to be better off if he adds a massive tax burden to the American economy?

Governor Palin Energizes and Unleashes 'Faith Moms' for the November Presidential Elections These "Faith Moms" represent millions of women who attend weekly Bible studies; volunteer for and coordinate church activates and are the foundation of thousands of churches across America. Governor Palin has energized these women like no other national candidate in history. ...Just as Senator Obama has struck a chord with and energized African-Americans throughout the nation, Governor Palin has motivated these 'Faith Moms' in a way that no politician has ever done before. In fact, many of the women that I have talked with over the past week have been disillusioned with the political process because they felt that their political leaders in Washington have been out of touch with their concerns and values. That has all changed now that 'one of them' has been nominated for Vice- President of the United States.

South Side Veterans for Truth By JAMES TARANTO - Judis offers the closest thing we've heard to a job description for "community organizers." What they do, he writes, is "unite people of different backgrounds around common goals and use their collective strength to wring concessions from the powers that be." To help illuminate this rather vague description, Judis also enumerates some of the tasks Obama and his colleagues undertook. Before Obama's arrival in Chicago, Kellman and his "partner," Mike Kruglik, set out "to revive the region's manufacturing base--and preserve what remained of its steel industry--by working with unions and church groups to pressure companies and the city; but those hopes were quickly dashed." Apparently the presence of "community organizers" is not a strong selling point for companies making location decisions. Go figure. Obama set his sights lower, but still missed the mark. He "got community members to demand a job center that would provide job referrals, but there were few jobs to distribute." Then "he tried to create what he called a 'second-level consumer economy' . . . consisting of shops, restaurants, and theaters. This, too, went nowhere." These efforts at economic development having failed, Obama "began to focus on providing social services for Altgeld Gardens," a government-owned and -operated apartment complex: "We didn't yet have the power to change state welfare policy, or create local jobs, or bring substantially more money into the schools," [Obama] wrote. "But what we could do was begin to improve basic services at Altgeld--get the toilets fixed, the heaters working, the windows repaired." Obama helped the residents wage a successful campaign to get the Chicago Housing Authority to promise to remove asbestos from the units; but, after an initial burst of activity, the city failed to keep its promise. (As of last year, some residences still had not been cleared of asbestos.) It is both funny and scary that one of America's major political parties would offer this record of sheer futility as its nominee's chief qualification to be president of the United States. Even more striking, though, is how alien the world in which Obama operated was by comparison with the world in which normal Americans live.

Indoctrination: "Mainstream" Media, Hollywood,& Education? - (Media, Hollywood, Education?) The good, the bad, and the ugly...Without a Heritage every generation starts over  Will our descendants know moral virtue? The primary responsibility of education DOES NOT belong to schools.  (Deuteronomy 6:5-7)

"A trained intelligence can do much, but there is no substitute for morality, character and religious conviction."  President Calvin Coolidge

"Knowledge unenlightened by the truth of God is dark knowledge. We may have a B.S., an M.S., and a Ph.D., but without the Lord all we have is dark information. It may help navigate us in the world of darkness, but by itself will never lead us to the truth. Apart from the revelation of the Spirit of God, none of us could ever find our way into the light. Darkly educated people are like those whom Paul described to his young protégé', Timothy, as 'always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.'" A Parent's Guide to Education Reform (pdf) To help educate the most important decision-makers in education - parents - Heritage experts Dan Lips, Jennifer Marshall, and Lindsey Burke compiled A Parent's Guide to Education Reform. The 36-page booklet, which is being distributed free in collaboration with talk radio hosts Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham, rounds up the case for giving parents choice over their children's schools. Education is one of the ten cornerstone initiatives of Heritage's decade-long Leadership for America campaign.

One of Them and One of Us by Patrick J. Buchanan - One wonders: What did Sarah Palin ever do to inspire the rage and bile that exploded on her selection by John McCain? What is there either in this woman's record or resume to elicit such feline ferocity? What did we know of her when she was introduced? That she was a mother of five who had brought into this world a baby boy with Down syndrome, thus living her Christian beliefs. That she was a small-town conservative who had risen from mayor of Wasilla (Pop. 9,700) to be governor of a state twice the size of Texas. That she was a reformer who had dethroned an Old Boys' Network by dumping a sitting Republican governor. That she had taken on Big Oil, taxed the companies and returned the money in $1,200 checks to every citizen of Alaska. And that she had cut a deal with Canada to build a pipeline to bring natural gas to her fellow Americans. ...Why did the selection of Sarah Palin cause a suspension of all standards and a near riot among a media that has been so in the tank for Barack even "Saturday Night Live" has satirized the infatuation? Because she is one of us -- and he is one of them.

Palin a 'pragmatist' on school choice Questions surround Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin's stance on school vouchers. ..."When asked a question by a teacher union's representative, she gave a very literal and accurate reading of what would be constitutional in the state of Alaska," notes Campanella. "Alaska has what is considered to be a Blaine Amendment, and that is an anti-Catholic amendment that was put in the state's constitution [since it was adopted]...that amendment prohibits any state money to go directly to a religious institution." According to Campanella, Palin knew that special interests would attack a voucher program, so she pursued other school choice reforms and came out in support for home school. /"That doesn't say that she's not in support of school choice, but that she's a pragmatist," he explains, "just like Barack Obama has said that he is in favor of performance pay for teachers, and John McCain has said that he's in favor of school choice and vouchers. I think all the candidates on the tickets this year are relatively consistent when it comes to their education platforms."

The Left Coast Report: A Political Look at Hollywood

1. Hollywood Smears Sarah Palin - Jamie Lee Curtis wrote in The Huffington Post, "The scariest thing I hear about the Palin nomination was that she would appeal to voters because they would be able to relate to her and she to them." Curtis admitted, "I couldn't hold my own for one minute in a debate on any issue with someone like a Barack Obama or Joseph Biden and neither can Sarah Palin."

2. Daytime TV's Un-Fairness Doctrine - Oprah has issued a written statement that she will not allow Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin anywhere near her Chicago soundstage. She says she has "made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates." So much for consistency in Fairness Doctrine ideology. Interestingly, though, the people have a way of implementing their own Fairness Doctrine, or when they're unable they at least know how to give media elites some grief. One Republican woman's group in Florida has announced a boycott of Oprah's show and her magazine. Oprah's Web site, too, has been flooded with complaints over the Palin rebuff. Female fans are up in arms and are letting Oprah know that if her daytime show features influential women, it is outrageous to refuse to have on the first female Republican vice presidential candidate in history.

3. NBC, CNN Execs Tweaked by Sarah Palin Comment - NBC News President Steve Capus told Broadcasting & Cable, "What people who are politically motivated are trying to do is take every outrageous blogger that exists online and lump them into traditional media." ...CNN President Jonathan Klein had a similar reaction: "It's a time-honored marketing ploy, and every time they bash the media, it means they're not talking about a vision or a plan . . . But the best antidote to cynical marketing is solid reporting."

4. Hollywood's New Anti-faith Assault - Bill Maher's "Religulous" embraces the substance of best-selling disbeliever books like Richard Dawkins' "The God Delusion" and Christopher Hitchens' "God is Not Great." The HBO host's film attempts to use a "Borat" approach to belittling organized religion in particular, and theism in general. ..Johnny Depp is in talks to produce and play the lead in a film that features the so-called descendants of Christ. The movie will be based on a comic book novel titled "Rex Mundi." The story is a fanciful history in which the Reformation never occurred (elements of "The Golden Compass").

5. Leonardo DiCaprio's Anti-U.S. Film Timed for the Election? - After failing to draw audiences with anti-Iraq war movie fare like "Rendition," "Stop-Loss," "The Kingdom" and "In the Valley of Elah," Hollywood is at it again. In the closing days of the presidential campaign season, "Body of Lies," starring Leo DiCaprio, is set for release. The film is another attempt to portray America as evil and includes themes of torture, covert operations, and terrorist accusations being made toward innocent victims.

"Politically Correct" - (Politically Correct with PC dictionary) Examples and results of Political Correctness which means using unrighteous deception which lack Biblical Moral Virtue. Remove the Light (Jesus) and darkness (politically correct secular humanism) inevitably ensues.

As World War III Begins: President Barack Obama Will Vote Present and do nothing while the world is destroyed by the "Axis of Evil"

(JHReport) June, 7, 2009 - Five minutes ago, breaking news alerts were broadcast on nearly every television station throughout America. It is the time that nightmares are made of. News reports are coming in at a breathtaking speed and revealing that an enormous number of fully equipped Russian troops are massing along the northern border of Kazakhstan. Ground forces of the Russian Federation are also now on the move through the beleaguered nation of Georgia with an estimated 100,000 troops and 500 T-90 battle tanks. These forces are moving directly towards the border with Turkey.

...It has been nearly five months since Democratic President Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th president of the United States. As the breaking news reports begin to fill the Oval Office, the heat of late spring and the morning's damnable events begin to darken the moods of President Obama and the men sitting around him. The catastrophic events consuming this June 7, 2009 morning are not the responses that President Obama, his Secretary of State John Kerry, or his Chief of Staff Howard Dean had anticipated when Obama ordered his administration to adapt a policy of cautious appeasement with those who Obama's predecessor George W. Bush called, "the Axis of Evil."

"Meet with them. Partner with them. Treat them like you would want to be treated," Obama declared as his new foreign policy directive for dealing with the rogue nations of Iran, Syria, North Korea, and Russia. He was so sure of himself. He was so convinced that the wolves were never really wolves at all, but just sheep who had been considered wolves by the Bush Administration. George W. Bush had it right all along and Barack Obama was about to find out that the wolves were coming to devour the world and the real sheep who live in it.

Prophecy Verifies The Authenticity Of The Bible By Dr. David R. Reagan - Some of the most convincing evidence of the Bible's divine inspiration is to be found in its prophecies. More than one-fourth of the Bible is prophetic in nature. Prophecy is one of the most unique features of the Bible. No other book that forms the basis of a religion contains prophecy. There are no prophecies in the Koran, the Book of Mormon, the Hindu Vedras or the sayings of Confucius or Buddha. The Messianic prophecies are remarkable in nature. There are more than 300 of them about the First Coming of the Messiah. Many are repetitious, like the prophecy that the Messiah will be descended from the house of David. When the repetitious prophecies are culled out, there remain 108 prophecies that are separate and unique. All 108 were fulfilled in the life of Jesus. That is beyond the realm of probability.
