Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness... Matthew 6 (We are to personally and individually seek FIRST the Kingdom of God AND His Righteousness ahead of all else including self and politics. This does not mean however we are to hide our Light or refrain from "reproving the world of sin." Imagine if the Christians who created our Republic did so.)

God is The Giver of Life. In Australia it’s illegal to kill a baby joey (kangaroo in utero).

Here's a brief description of the birth of a baby kangaroo:

Kangaroos have an interesting reproductive cycle. The joey is actually born alive in an embryonic state and is forced to crawl up its mother and into her pouch to nurse. The mother can't touch it because it is so tiny. She licks a path in her fur for it to travel along. It is only about 2 cm (1/2 inch) long and weighs less than a gram. The joey attaches so firmly to the pouch that attempts to remove it could kill it and damage the mother's nipples. Over the next eight to ten months, the joey develops into a recognizable baby kangaroo, and after around eight months, it occasionally climbs out of the pouch to investigate the world, always staying close to mother and continuing to nurse until it is a year old.

If you kill the joey as it is crawling into the pouch of its mother, you can be prosecuted. But in the USA it is still okay to kill a human baby in its embryonic state and that somehow is acceptable to our legal system.

We need to be convinced of one thing, without soaring rhetoric or colorful speech, simply speaking; killing babies is a sin that this country will be held accountable for. I do believe that deep down in the hearts of those who do this that they are crying out for someone to stop them. How can anyone, unless they are an uncaring barbarian, not know in the depths of their heart that murdering innocent babies is wrong? It goes against all of nature and nurture.

Yet, we listen to the issue in the form of a political debate thinking to ourselves that as long as we have a discussion and place it on the table for a vote we’ll be okay whatever the outcome. We have discussed it and debated it and that’s what this society is all about, the vote. WRONG! Life and death issues are never up for a vote. Politics are unable to redeem this moral issue from what it really is. This is why six million Jews died in Nazi Germany. Life and death became politicized.

A baby is not a choice, fetal tissue, or a political issue. That baby is alive and innocent and he or she shouldn’t suffer the death penalty.

Please don’t get sidetracked; don’t allow political speech to dissuade you from the truth. Stay focused, look to the Word of God for your truth and you won’t get caught up into foolish dialogue. It’s enough to spin your head around, that’s Satan’s plan to keep you from the truth. Remember, if a politician won’t defend the most helpless in our society, then what makes you think that he or she is for you.

The law in Australia says you can’t kill a baby joey (kangaroo in utero) but in America you can kill a human baby legally.

Let's see what God's Word says:

"Yet You are He who brought me forth from the womb; You made me trust when upon my mother's breasts" Psalm 22:9 NASB

"Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They will not be ashamed When they speak with their enemies in the gate" Psalm 127:3-5 NASB.

"For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb" Psalm 139:13 NASB.

"I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well" Psalm 139:14 NASB.

God is the giver of life. Only He has the right to take it. Look to the Word and you will not be confounded or confused with this issue.

News and commentary (News & Commentary

Faith, Not Fear God and Wall Street Chuck Colson - Most of us have been badly shaken by the tumultuous events of the last 48 hours in Wall Street. If you have an IRA or some kind of retirement plan, no doubt you're licking your wounds. You may even be fearful. I understand. I've experienced those apprehensions myself.  But as I told a worried young man on our team today, we need to remember that fear is always the enemy of faith. A few months ago, in the midst of fervent prayer during my devotions, I had an especially strong realization that my life was completely in God's hands. To live is Christ, to die is gain. I've known that intellectually, but for the first time in my life, it is now engraved in my soul. Now, when things go wrong, I turn to God, pray, trust Him, and feel an amazing peace. I'm His.

Idols of Crowds by Thomas Sowell - Barack Obama is truly a phenomenon of our time-- a presidential candidate who cannot cite a single serious accomplishment in his entire career, besides advancing his own career with rhetoric. He has a rhetorical answer for everything. Those of us who talk about the threat of Iran are just engaging in "the politics of fear" according to Obama, something to distract us from "the real issues," such as raising taxes and handing out largesse with the proceeds. ...Barack Obama of course has his usual answer: talk. Rhetoric seems to be his answer to everything. Obama calls for "aggressive" diplomacy and "tough" negotiations with Iran. These colorful adjectives may impress gullible voters but they are unlikely to impress fanatics who are willing to destroy themselves if they can destroy us in the process. Just what is Senator Obama going to say to Iran that has not been said already? That we don't want them to develop nuclear weapons? That has already been said, every way that it can possibly be said. If talk was going to do the job, it would already have done it by now. Go to the United Nations? What will they do, except issue warnings-- and when these are ignored, issue more warnings? But what does Obama have besides talk-- and adoring crowds?

On Theocracy and Double Standards by David Limbaugh - On "The View," Goldberg asked John McCain, "So if you believe in the separation of church and state, did it not give you a moment of pause that Sarah Palin … (does) not have the same beliefs as you do about these things?" I think we can safely infer that Goldberg was suggesting that Palin does not believe in the separation of church and state. Why? Presumably because Palin has said that she would seek God's guidance in governing. Horrors! After all, said Goldberg, America includes not only Christians and Jews but also Muslims, Zoroastrians and Wiccans. She asked of McCain: "Are you to govern this nation as God would have you do it, or do you govern this nation for the greater good of the people in it?" Let liberals keep revealing their profound ignorance concerning the Constitution's prohibition of the establishment of religion and guarantee of religious liberty. Let them continue broadcasting their belief that it is improper for public officials to humbly seek God's guidance in discharging their duties. Let them showcase their convoluted view that a Christian public official can't constitutionally govern unless he erects a Chinese firewall between his faith and his governance. Let them persist in displaying their misapprehension that Christian politicians, by virtue of their faith, are theocrats and cannot serve without discriminating against non-Christians.

EarsToHear.net on Theocracy - If liberals are afraid of a Judeo-Christian "theocracy," then why didn't our Christian Founders establish a theocracy? The theocracy they should fear, is that of Islam. However, the "theocracy" fear, is just a front, a deception. What they really fear is liberty defined within the boundaries of morality as "endowed by the Creator," and not by Big Government.  ..."Among the features peculiar to the political system of the United States, is the perfect equality of rights which it secures to every religious sect. " James Madison - Primary Author of the Constitution (letter to Jacob de la Motta, August 1820) Reference: Our Sacred Honor, Bennett, pg. 333 ...Whilst we assert for ourselves a freedom to embrace, to profess, and to observe the religion which we believe to be of divine origin, we cannot deny an equal freedom to those whose minds have not yet yielded to the evidence which has convinced us. If this freedom be abused, it is an offence against God, not against man: To God therefore, not to men, must an account of it be rendered. James Madison, Memorial and Remonstrance...

An Invitation to Barack Obama and You by Newt Gingrich - The following was sent to the Obama campaign headquarters...On September 27, American Solutions will join with citizen activists and elected officials across the country to participate in our second annual Solutions Day. Last year, on our inaugural Solutions Day, over 100,000 Americans participated in person and online in more than 35 workshops at six different locations across the country to find solutions in education, health care, energy and the environment. It was a truly bipartisan event. Democrats including Roy Romer and Elaine Kamarck led workshops along with Republicans such as Dick Armey and Mike Huckabee. This year, the theme of Solutions Day 2008 will be "We Have the Power." This theme is a reflection of the belief we share in the power and potential of citizen activism. As a template for this citizen activism, American Solutions has produced a tripartisan document called The Platform of the American People, which can be viewed at AmericanSolutions.com/Platform. I invite you to learn more about Solutions Day at SolutionsDay2008.com. And then I invite you to join us on September 27 to outline your vision of real change in energy, the economy, education and health care. Of course, I know how busy your schedule is these days. So if you're unable to join us in person, we would be excited if you could submit a video of your ideas for real change.

OBAMA TRIED TO STALL GIS' IRAQ WITHDRAWAL - WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence. ...Though Obama claims the US presence is "illegal," he suddenly remembered that Americans troops were in Iraq within the legal framework of a UN mandate. His advice was that, rather than reach an accord with the "weakened Bush administration," Iraq should seek an extension of the UN mandate. While in Iraq, Obama also tried to persuade the US commanders, including Gen. David Petraeus, to suggest a "realistic withdrawal date." They declined. ...Maliki's advisers have persuaded him that Obama will win - but the prime minister worries about the senator's "political debt to the anti-war lobby" - which is determined to transform Iraq into a disaster to prove that toppling Saddam Hussein was "the biggest strategic blunder in US history." Other prominent Iraqi leaders, such as Vice President Adel Abdul-Mahdi and Kurdish regional President Massoud Barzani, believe that Sen. John McCain would show "a more realistic approach to Iraqi issues."

Tax Cuts for the Middle Class by Jack Kemp - According to a 2007 study by the Treasury Department, Ireland -- with a 12.5 percent corporate tax rate -- raises almost 50 percent more revenue on a comparative basis than the United States does with a 35 percent rate. ...Obama, by contrast, has proposed to raise marginal tax rates for almost every federal tax -- the individual income tax, the capital gains tax, the dividends tax, the payroll tax, the death tax, etc. He would further increase corporate taxes through such measures as the windfall profits tax on oil companies. These marginal tax rate increases would dramatically discourage savings, investment, business expansion and job creation. Such tax increases would consequently slow the economy even further and reduce jobs and wages for working people and the middle class, while simultaneously weakening the dollar.

Strong case against Obama - Why is Barack Obama trying to shut David Freddoso up? Probably because he has a clear, well laid out argument against Barack Obama that even Barabara Boxer apparently has a tough time disagreeing with. David explains the Born Alive Infant Act so that it cuts right through the political BS and and demonstrates exactly why Barack Obama is the #1 most liberal Senator in the United States Senate.

Indoctrination: "Mainstream" Media, Hollywood,& Education? - (Media, Hollywood, Secular Education) The good, the bad, and the ugly...Without a Heritage every generation starts over  Will our descendants know moral virtue? The primary responsibility of education DOES NOT belong to schools.  (Deuteronomy 6:5-7)

"A trained intelligence can do much, but there is no substitute for morality, character and religious conviction."  President Calvin Coolidge

"Knowledge unenlightened by the truth of God is dark knowledge. We may have a B.S., an M.S., and a Ph.D., but without the Lord all we have is dark information. It may help navigate us in the world of darkness, but by itself will never lead us to the truth. Apart from the revelation of the Spirit of God, none of us could ever find our way into the light. Darkly educated people are like those whom Paul described to his young protégé', Timothy, as 'always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.'" Charlie Gibson and ABC News Camera Trickery - Anonymous - (Click link for picture detail.)  I'm a Director in Hollywood. I've also created visual effects for movies and commercials for 23 years. I'm not disclosing my name at this point, because frankly I've already suffered enough job loss because I was "outted" as a conservative. But enough about me. I caught a commercial teaser for the Charlie Gibson interview of Sarah Palin and something caught my attention as a Director immediately: The use of the position and choice of lenses to minimalize Governor Palin. To be objective to see if I was jumping to conclusions, I immediately reviewed Mr. Gibson's interview with Senator Obama. Take a look below at how wide and then how even the heights are between the two. Yes, in real life Senator Obama is taller than Mr. Gibson. The shot was never tighter than the framing on the right.

ABC’s Editing Distorted Sarah Palin’s Answers - While numerous experts analyzed, scrutinized and dissected Palin's performance, ABC and Gibson did not allow the public to view a significant portion of Gibson's questions and the Alaska governor's answers. Posing difficult questions to candidates who are seeking elected office is appropriate. However, editing footage in a way that alters the substance of responses, and/or cuts, deletes and otherwise tampers with media content, which may give a false impression of an interview subject has the potential to stretch, rend and even demolish the boundaries of ethics. When the Palin interview that aired is compared to the entire interview transcript, there is evidence that ideas and explanations from Palin's answers were cut, causing the candidate to be misrepresented and the public to be mislead.

A conservative alternative to liberal NEA Pete Chagnon - Many conservative teachers are upset that their National Educators Association membership fees are being used to support liberal candidates such as Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

The National Educators Association (NEA) has decided to endorse Obama and spend $50 million to target battleground states -- a large sum that is coming from membership fees. Many conservative teachers who are upset about their money being used in such a way are now wondering if there are any alternative teacher associations to the liberal NEA.

Finn Laursen, executive director of Christian Educators Association International (CEAI), offers his organization. "We are a professional association...who really target, if you will, Christian educators who are working in our public schools," he points out.

The organization, according to Laursen, offers teachers an alternative to the NEA at a fraction of the cost.

"We give them a million-dollar liability policy, so if they are sued in their professional duties, they are actually covered for legal expenses. And if they should lose, actually they are covered," Laursen explains. "So they are protected [with that] as well as [with] job action protection, so if they have some challenges with their district, they would actually carry a policy that would cover legal fees to defend them in any action that would happen within the district."

Laursen also notes that none of the CEAI membership fees are used to promote any candidate or political agenda. CEAI, based in Westlake, Ohio, was founded in 1953 and was formerly known as National Educators Fellowship.

"Politically Correct" - (Politically Correct with PC dictionary) Examples and results of Political Correctness which means using unrighteous deception which lack Biblical Moral Virtue. Remove the Light (Jesus) and darkness (politically correct secular humanism) inevitably ensues.

Record 259 corporations honored for 'gay' support - The newly released Human Rights Campaign Foundation's Corporate Equality Index, which ranks hundreds of businesses on their "treatment" of employees who have chosen homosexual, lesbian, bisexual and transgender lifestyles, awards a record 259 corporations perfect scores, including newcomersCampbell's Soup and Target.

Extra, Extra...

Constitution Day...

American Minute for September 17th: - Done...the SEVENTEENTH DAY of SEPTEMBER, in the year of our LORD one thousand seven hundred and eighty seven." This is the last line of the U.S. Constitution. A study by Professors Donald S. Lutz and Charles S. Hyneman, titled "The Relative Influence of European Writers on Late 18th-Century American Political Thought" published in American Political Science Review, 1984, revealed that after examining nearly 15,000 writings of the 55 writers of the Constitution, including newspaper articles, pamphlets, books and monographs, that the Bible, especially the book of Deuteronomy, contributed 34 percent of all direct quotes made by the Founders. When indirect Bible citations were included, the percentage rose even higher. Presiding over the Constitutional Convention was George Washington, who wrote ten days after his Presidential Inauguration to the United Baptist Churches of Virginia, May 10, 1789: "If I could have entertained the slightest apprehension that the Constitution framed by the Convention, where I had the honor to preside, might possibly endanger the religious rights of any ecclesiastical Society, certainly I would never have placed my signature to it."
