Commentary - He that has ears to hear, let him hear
Is not a vote for ANY Democrat a vote for socialism, the loss of America's power, sovereignty, and noble leadership in the world in favor of United Nations dominance, selective First Amendment dictates, continued infringement of the Second Amendment, increased secular humanistic anti-Christian government-run schools and pre-schools, and "higher" education rewriting history to eradicate America's Christian Heritage, and continued dependence on foreign energy sources?
1. Judges - Judges who interpret the law vs. Judges who make the law - It is not clear that Obama will nominate secular humanistic anti-Christian activists judges, while McCain will nominate judges who will adhere to strict Constitutional interpretation and refrain from legislating from the bench.
2. War on Terror - The Democrats have provided enough evidence of their weakness and naivety of diplomacy, while Republicans currently continue to speak softly and carry a big stick.
3. Taxes & Economy - Tax cuts vs. Tax hikes - If you want government to replace God, if you want a government that will have citizens dependent from the cradle to the grave upon yet more government programs that fail then vote for socialist who are masking as Democrats. If you prefer a free market driven economy, personal independence, personal responsibility, personal commitment, personal accountability, self-discipline, self-motivation, over complete reliance on a government that is incapable of meeting every need, don't vote for any Democrat or Green Party candidate. “To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.” Thomas Jefferson
4. Healthcare - Protecting doctors vs. Protecting predatory trial lawyers - If you want the same problems the British and Canadians are experiencing vote for a Obama. If you want doctors returning to prioritizing patient care over HMO or government mandates, please consider McCain's plan.
5. Energy independence vs. Energy dependence
6, Protected borders vs. Porous borders
7. Socialist biased humanistic politically correct mainstream media, without which, as willing defenders of the Democrat Party as a whole are successful in keeping all the FACTS and opinions from the sheeple .
The sheeple instead of enjoying liberty from God (as prescribed in the Declaration of Independence) appear to prefer to have their liberties mandated by the government, which as the "Politically Correct" anti-Judeo-Christian agenda reveals, shows utter contempt for the Righteousness of God as designed and defined according to the Word of God. We the sheeple prefer a way that seems right unto man, even though that way leads to death. (Proverbs 14:12 and 16:25)
Why is it many Americans continue to vote for socialists, masking as democrats? Do they really want government to a socialistic nanny-state providing all their needs from cradle to the grave? Do they really want government to be their god? Are they too busy, cynical, or apathetic and choose to let others decide the future of their children? Are they too complacent, comfortable in the American Way of Life, that came with a price? Too busy to be concerned for America's future generations? are they really that self-centered and selfish?
Maybe it is not that complicated. Perhaps they are just so shallow the socialists and their co-defenders, the liberally biased media are simply taking advantage of their apathy and lack of concern? Not until the MSM is fully revealed in this deceit AND corrects itself by providing fair and balanced coverage, will “we the sheeple” finally hear both sides of every issue. Only then will the voters see exactly where the “politically correct” Democratic Party is leading America.
We witnessed from the coverage of the Republican
convention (except for the major networks that ONLY covered the Democratic
convention), where GOP speakers mentioned the MSM biased coverage, a few of the
sheeple were finally made aware of the biased coverage and perhaps saw not
only the corrupt side of both the media and democrats, but their alliance
with one another.
If the GOP EVER WAKES UP and begins to constantly point out this alliance of deceit and begin to unceasingly reveal this deceptive liberally biased coverage by the MSM then the MSM will have to either report on their own bias or start providing conservative coverage as well. However, if the GOP continues to leave this challenge up to Christian and conservative pundits, who primarily are ONLY "preaching to the choir," then America will continue to slide at the same rate as the number of votes Democratic candidates receive.
Therefore, should not the call to Christians and conservatives be, as much as we reveal and highlight the actions of our socialist representatives, they simply chuckle, because the MSM continues to aid and abet them by spewing their biased coverage to the sheeple.
Until “we the people” get our GOP to hear this, “we the people” will be subjects of “we the sheeple.” This may sound discouraging and nearly impossible, but consider the odds America’s Founders faced and how they confronted the fact that most Americans at that time were happy to be and remain British subjects. The price of freedom for those American British subjects made them sheeple. Sound familiar? First and foremost, those leaders and Americans who held freedom above any costs placed their reliance upon God, where “all things are possible.”
Today, the GOP, not the socialist, not the MSM, must now become our primary target of our concern for our descendants. If the GOP can continue what they started in the Republican convention, pointing out the both the impact of the Democratic plan for socialism and how the MSM aided and abets that agenda, the sheeple may begin to grasp these facts when they hear the MSM whine as they did after the convention.

Do Facts Matter? by Thomas Sowell - Abraham Lincoln said, "You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you can't fool all the people all the time."
Unfortunately, the future of this country, as well as the fate of the Western world, depends on how many people can be fooled on election day, just a few weeks from now.
Right now, the polls indicate that a whole lot of the people are being fooled a whole lot of the time.
The current financial bailout crisis has propelled Barack Obama back into a substantial lead over John McCain-- which is astonishing in view of which man and which party has had the most to do with bringing on this crisis.
It raises the question: Do facts matter? Or is Obama's rhetoric and the media's spin enough to make facts irrelevant?
Fact Number One: It was liberal Democrats, led by Senator Christopher Dodd and Congressman Barney Frank, who for years-- including the present year-- denied that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were taking big risks that could lead to a financial crisis.
It was Senator Dodd, Congressman Frank and other liberal Democrats who for years refused requests from the Bush administration to set up an agency to regulate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
It was liberal Democrats, again led by Dodd and Frank, who for years pushed for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to go even further in promoting subprime mortgage loans, which are at the heart of today's financial crisis.
Alan Greenspan warned them four years ago. So did the Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers to the President. So did Bush's Secretary of the Treasury, five years ago.
Yet, today, what are we hearing? That it was the Bush administration "right-wing ideology" of "de-regulation" that set the stage for the financial crisis. Do facts matter?
We also hear that it is the free market that is to blame. But the facts show that it was the government that pressured financial institutions in general to lend to subprime borrowers, with such things as the Community Reinvestment Act and, later, threats of legal action by then Attorney General Janet Reno if the feds did not like the statistics on who was getting loans and who wasn't.
Is that the free market? Or do facts not matter?
Then there is the question of being against the "greed" of CEOs and for "the people." Franklin Raines made $90 million while he was head of Fannie Mae and mismanaging that institution into crisis.
Who in Congress defended Franklin Raines? Liberal Democrats, including Maxine Waters and the Congressional Black Caucus, at least one of whom referred to the "lynching" of Raines, as if it was racist to hold him to the same standard as white CEOs.
Even after he was deposed as head of Fannie Mae, Franklin Raines was consulted this year by the Obama campaign for his advice on housing!
The Washington Post criticized the McCain campaign for calling Raines an adviser to Obama, even though that fact was reported in the Washington Post itself on July 16th. The technicality and the spin here is that Raines is not officially listed as an adviser. But someone who advises is an adviser, whether or not his name appears on a letterhead.
The tie between Barack Obama and Franklin Raines is not all one-way. Obama has been the second-largest recipient of Fannie Mae's financial contributions, right after Senator Christopher Dodd.
But ties between Obama and Raines? Not if you read the mainstream media.
Facts don't matter much politically if they are not reported.
The media alone are not alone in keeping the facts from the public. Republicans, for reasons unknown, don't seem to know what it is to counter-attack. They deserve to lose.
But the country does not deserve to be put in the hands of a glib and cocky know-it-all, who has accomplished absolutely nothing beyond the advancement of his own career with rhetoric, and who has for years allied himself with a succession of people who have openly expressed their hatred of America.
(Related: Lawmaker Accused of Fannie Mae Conflict of Interest - "If this had been his ex-wife and he was Republican, I would bet every penny I have - or at least what’s not in the stock market - that this would be considered germane," added Gainor, a T. Boone Pickens Fellow. "But everybody wants to avoid it because he’s gay. It’s the quintessential double standard.")

“[T]he ideology of that judge makes a big difference. That’s why I led the fight against Judge [Robert] Bork. Had he been on the court, I suspect there would be a lot of changes that I don’t like and the American people wouldn’t like, including everything from Roe v. Wade to issues relating to civil rights and civil liberties.” Joe Biden, admitting to a litmus test for judges
A New President Could Mean a
New Court By Paul Strand - CBNNews.com - The gavel's about to come down to
start the U.S. Supreme Court's new term. Lawyer Curt Levey, executive director
of the judicial think-tank Committee for Justice, listed some of the cases
coming before the court to CBN News: "Whether labor unions can negotiate away a
worker's right to go to court; whether environmental protections override
national security when people feel that Navy training exercises bothered
dolphins; whether Title Nine -- the gender discrimination statute -- trumps the
Constitution," he said. ...Because whoever gets elected president November 4,
Obama or McCain, could well pick three and maybe as many as six new justices.
Next president will reshape U.S. courts from top to bottom - McCain used his May speech at Wake Forest University to drive home what his campaign terms his own "vision for the courts." This includes homage to a "strict constructionist philosophy" and a commitment to appoint Supreme Court justices like John Roberts and Samuel Alito . Obama, a former part-time University of Chicago law lecturer, takes a different direction. While praising their legal qualifications, Obama voted against both Roberts and Alito. In doing so, the Harvard Law School graduate shed light on his own judicial inclinations. "Legal process alone will not lead you to a rule of decision," Obama declared during debate over the Roberts nomination. "In those difficult cases, the critical ingredient is supplied by what is in the judge's heart."
Comrade Barack Hussein Obama By Mark Alexander - Obama has the dubious distinction of being ranked the most liberal of the “useful idiots” in the Senate—apologist for socialist political and economic agendas. And it took him only half a term to achieve that ill repute. That puts him to the left of his primary benefactors, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry. (By contrast, his running mate, Joe Biden, has taken 36 years to achieve his status as the Senate’s third most liberal member.)
...Obama is the consummate “useful idiot,” a socialist who believes not only
that the will of the people should be subject to that of the state, but,
likewise, the economy should be state controlled through taxation and
regulation.
...Free enterprise “doesn’t require much thought or ingenuity”? Only in the mind of a lifelong adherent of socialist doctrine could such an absurdly un-American assertion originate. Obama’s economic plan represents a maturation of Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s class-warfare decree: “Here is my principle: Taxes shall be levied according to ability to pay. That is the only American principle.” In fact, Roosevelt’s “principle” was no more American than Obama’s. Roosevelt was paraphrasing Karl Marx, whose maxim declared, “From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.”
...While Obama and his cadre of elitists both understand and advocate socialist doctrine, their populist support across the nation is not from academic, intellectual or philosophical equals. Their adoring masses can’t begin to articulate why our nation was founded, what our Constitution sets forth, what citizenship entails, or why free enterprise is superior to socialism. They are, by and large, good people who have been dumbed down by government schools and the Leftmedia. They are not in possession of an ethic that inspires them to put “Country First,” as John McCain and a long list of American Patriots have done. Instead, they follow Obama’s example, asking not what they can do for their country, but what their country can do for them. They “feel” rather than “think” their way through political issues, and the consequences for future generations of Americans are dire.
...Soviet despot Nikita Khrushchev observed that America’s transition from liberty to serfdom would have to be incremental: “We can’t expect the American people to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism.”

A sheeple test...
Please answer the following questions to see where you agree or disagree with Barack Obama: Brad O'Leary, author of The Audacity of Deceit , joined Glenn Beck to talk about some of the issues he came up with while investigating Barack Obama. He goes issue by issue to see how the most liberal Senator in the United States stacks up against the average American. One interesting survey question O'Leary thought to ask was 'how much in taxes should someone pay if they win a million dollars in the lottery?'
Related; from: Shoud you vote for Obama? Take a test and find out... - "I basically wrote this book for my six daughters and six of my grandchildren who can vote because a couple of them had told me they were going to vote for Barack Obama," O'Leary says. "When I asked them why, they said because he was good looking, his rhetoric was wonderful, [and] they liked listening to him." In response, he put together a test for voters to compare their views on the issues with those of Obama. "You score one point every time you agree with Barack Obama and you subtract a point every time you disagree with him," O'Leary explains. "And if you wind up in the plus area, then you should vote for him. If you wind up in the minus area, then you should perhaps rethink about who you're going to vote for."

3. Chip Ford's CLT Commentary - Greetings activists and supporters:
Who's going to police renegade police? How do taxpayers convince the teachers unions to help save money and keep their fellow teachers teaching instead of being laid off?
As push comes to shove, the public employee unions are flagrantly waving their true color. That color is green. That's the color of boundless greed, and we've seen where unrestrained greed brings us: Yesterday it was a federal trillion dollar taxpayers bail-out of Wall Street's "masters of the universe," tomorrow it's the state's unrestrained profligacy for far too long using taxpayers' money.
In 1919, when the Boston Police went out on strike, Boston Mayor Andrew J. Peters summoned local militia units, followed by Governor Calvin Coolidge's calling out of the Massachusetts National Guard. When order was restored, Coolidge fired 1,100 striking police and replaced them with 1,574 unemployed World War I veterans. This earned his reputation as being a tough law-and-order politician and the position of vice-president under Warren Harding's U.S. presidency in 1920. In 1923, when Harding died in office, Coolidge became President of the U.S.
Thus his rising career was launched nationally by taking on the police union.
And let's not forget President Ronald Reagan's response in 1981, when 11,345 union members of the Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization (PATCO) marched off the job despite his warning that they'd be fired if they did so. He fired them all and refused to allow any of them to ever hold another job with the federal government. It didn't take long before none of them were missed and air traffic control was back to normal. President Reagan was elected to a second term in 1984 in a 49-state landslide.
The unions will never take their hands out of taxpayers' pockets on their own. More is and never will be enough, until they're stopped. Union mantras of "doing it for the children" or cries of "public safety" cannot work any more. We taxpayers can no longer afford to buy such baloney, not with the handwriting now on the wall for all to clearly read.
The union revolution is in full swing; no compromises, taking no prisoners, no demand too outrageous.
It's time for the taxpayers' counter-revolution to step out and assert itself.
Change begins with a "YES" vote on Question One on November 4th. Anything less will be surrender, an invitation to more bullying, intimidation, and abuse of us, their employers -- and more money taken from our pockets until they're empty.

"If Virtue & Knowledge are diffused among the People, they will never be enslav'd. This will be their great Security." Samuel Adams
“If the next century does not find us a great nation... it will be because those who represent the... morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces.” James Garfield
“We cannot afford to differ on the question of honesty if we expect our republic permanently to endure. Honesty is not so much a credit as an absolute prerequisite to efficient service to the public. Unless a man is honest, we have no right to keep him in public life; it matters not how brilliant his capacity.” Theodore Roosevelt
“Every voter ought not merely to vote, but to vote under the inspiration of a high purpose to serve the nation. It has been calculated that in most elections only about half of them entitled to vote actually exercise their franchise. What is worse, a considerable part of those who neglect to vote do it because of a curious assumption of superiority to this elementary duty of the citizen. They presume to be rather too good, too exclusive, to soil their hands with the work of politics... Popular government is facing one of the difficult phases of the perpetual trial to which it always has been and always will be subjected. It needs the support of every element of patriotism, intelligence and capacity that can be summoned.” Calvin Coolidge
“The beauty of our system isn’t that we have the right to vote. No, the nice thing is that people who are too dumb or lazy or uninformed to bother casting a ballot aren’t compelled to vote.” Burt Prelutsky
"Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves and the only way they could do this is by not voting." Franklin D. Roosevelt
"The reason this country continues its drift toward socialism and big nanny government is because too many people vote in the expectation of getting something for nothing, not because they have a concern for what is good for the country... If children were forced to learn about the Constitution, about how government works, about how this nation came into being, about taxes and about how government forever threatens the cause of liberty perhaps we wouldn't see so many foolish ideas coming out of the mouths of silly old men." Lyn Nofziger
"Is there no virtue among us? If there be not, we are in a wretched
situation. No theoretical checks-no form of government can render us secure.
To suppose that any form of government will secure liberty or happiness without
any virtue in the people, is a chimerical idea, if there be sufficient virtue
and intelligence in the community, it will be exercised in the selection of
these men. So that we do not depend on their virtue, or put confidence in our
rulers, but in the people who are to choose them." James Madison
"When you become entitled to exercise the right of voting for public
officers' let it be impressed upon your mind that God commands you to choose for
rulers just men who will rule in the fear of God. The preservation of a
republican government depends upon the faithful discharge of this duty; if the
citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government
will soon be corrupted ... If a republican government fails ... it must be
because the citizens neglect the divine commands, and elect bad men to make and
administer the laws." And "It is the sincere desire of the writer that our
citizens should early understand that the genuine source of correct republican
principles is the Bible, particularly the New Testament or the Christian
religion." ...In selecting men for office, let principle be your guide. Regard not the
particular sect or denomination of the candidate--look to his character.
...When a citizen gives his suffrage to a man of known immorality he abuses his
trust; he sacrifices not only his own interest, but that of his neighbor, he
betrays the interest of his country. Noah Webster
"Statesmen my dear Sir, may plan and speculate for Liberty, but it is Religion and Morality alone, which can establish the Principles upon which Freedom can securely stand. ... The only foundation of a free Constitution, is pure Virtue, and if this cannot be inspired into our People, in a great Measure, than they have it now, They may change their Rulers, and the forms of Government, but they will not obtain a lasting Liberty." John Adams
“Now, more than ever before, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless, and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness, and corruption. If the next centennial does not find us a great nation . . .it will be because those who represent the enterprise, the culture, and the morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces.” James Garfield 20th President
The people in general ought to have regard to the moral character of those whom they invest with authority either in the legislative, executive, or judicial branches. John Witherspoon
"A vote is like a rifle: its usefulness depends upon the character of the user." Theodore Roosevelt
When the righteous rule, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan. Supreme Court Justice William Paterson reminding his fellow justices of Proverbs 29:2. United States Oracle (Portsmouth, NH), May 24, 1800
The Americans are the first people whom Heaven has favored with an opportunity of deliberating upon and choosing the forms of government under which they should live. ...Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation , to select and prefer Christians for their rulers. John Jay, The Correspondence and Public Papers of John Jay, Henry P. Johnston, ed. (New York: G.P. Putnams Sons, 1890), Vol. I, p. 161. Vol. IV, p. 365.
When I say unto the wicked, O wicked
man, you shall surely die; if you do not speak to warn the wicked
from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood
will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless, if you warn the wicked of
his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in
his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. Ezekiel 33:8-9 (KJV)
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches. And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I would that you were cold or hot. So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth. Revelation 3:13-16
"You are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it gives light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Matthew 5:13-16
"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" - Isaiah 5:20
Impress upon children the truth that the exercise of the elective franchise is a social duty of as solemn a nature as man can be called to perform; that a man may not innocently trifle with his vote; that every elector is a trustee as well for others as himself and that every measure he supports has an important bearing on the interests of others as well as on his own. Daniel Webster, The Works of Daniel Webster (Boston: Little, Brown, and Company, 1853), Vol. II, p. 108, from remarks made at a public reception by the ladies of Richmond, Virginia, on October 5, 1840.
