Pringle is less discussed than Weingarten, but as the president of the NEA, she is playing from the same playbook and being richly paid for her efforts.

Biden’s Department of Re-Education - The Biden administration wants to turn the classical idea of education on its head. The administration thinks one should try to twist reality to conform it to oneself and one’s emotions. ...It’s no wonder that America’s public education system is in decline.

     ...As part of The Heritage Foundation Oversight Project’s ongoing investigation into the bureaucratization of transgender policy in the federal government (what we call the “transgender administrative state”), we filed a Freedom of Information Act request asking the Education Department’s Office of Inspector General for training materials mentioning “DEI,” “Transgender,” “Equity,” or “Pronouns.” (The Daily Signal is the news outlet of The Heritage Foundation.) In response to the request, we obtained a 38-page internal PowerPoint training for employees, “Things Your Seventh Grade English Teacher Never Taught You: The Use of They/Them/Theirs and Other Best Practices in Gender Inclusivity.”

     ...The presentation starts out with their definitions of gender and sexual orientation and explains why the two are not the same. “For many people, gender does not match either sex assigned at birth or societal expectations,” it states. Next up, there is a confusing slide with umbrellas depicting the spectrum of gender-fluidity.

    ...This slide cites GAY TA Science, a group that uses data science techniques to “capture, combine, and extract insight” to “give LGBTQ+ experiences a voice.” The presentation then shifts to the subject of transgenderism and transitioning, with slides on “gender-affirming health care” and “transgender terminology.”

     ...This is just another example of the Biden administration’s efforts to create a radical gender bureaucracy in the federal government, stemming directly from the president himself. On the day he took office, Biden signed Executive Order 13988, “Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation,” an order which undoubtedly intends to screen out Americans who believe in common sense and basic biology. Since then, just about every federal agency has implemented policies and trainings to indoctrinate employees in the LGBT mindset and force out anyone who dissents.

     ...The Founders are Clear on the Key for National Stability: In the quotes below, remember that when the Founders use the word "religion," they are referring to Christianity. Christianity was their religion. Without exception, they believed that only a moral and virtuous people could maintain the Republic that had formed. And notice that they consistently couple "morality" with "religion" for they believed that morality could not be had without religion. This is why, two weeks before signing the Declaration of Independence, John Adams wrote to his cousin, Zabdiel Adams, a minister of the Gospel, and said, Statesmen, my dear Sir, may plan and speculate for Liberty, but it is Religion and Morality alone, which can establish the Principles upon which Freedom can securely stand (Hyatt, 1726: The Year that Defined America, 164).

     ...We now have a generation that, in the words of Adams, is "unbridled by morality and religion." The blame must be laid at the feet of far-Left extremists who have done everything in their power to purge America of her Christian roots. Because of this loss of morality, our nation is becoming chaotic and our liberties are rapidly slipping away, as many push for more government control.

The Hijacking of Empathy and Equality in America - By Michael L. Brown ...In our day, as a young generation deals with its own set of uncertainties and frustrations, longing to see justice and equality prevail, Satan and the world have rushed in to hijack these sentiments, many of which are good and noble in themselves. Nowhere is this clearer than in the hijacking of empathy, defined as "the ability to understand and share the feelings of another." It is partly because of empathy that a disproportionate percent of Gen Z'ers identify as LGBTQ, even though only a small percentage of them are actively, let alone exclusively, involved in same-sex relationships and activity. As a result, this quality of empathy, which can be very positive in and of itself, has been coopted in a destructive, negative way. And so, to give just one example, out of empathy, many teens will instinctively defend a trans-identified peer, not realizing that this peer is about to destroy his or her life via chemical castration and genital mutilation. Their empathy in the short-term actually contributes to their friend's long-term pain.

Our Children Are Being Poisoned: Fentanyl is the real public health crisis, and the open southern border is largely to blame. More than 100,000 Americans a year are now dying of drug overdoses. Lora Ries, director of the Border Security and Immigration Center, says that tragic problem is a big consequence of bad border policy. When COVID-19 hit, multiple agencies at the federal, state and local levels conducted massive public service campaigns. Posters, radio, TV and social media ads instructed us to wash our hands, cover our cough, keep our distance, wear a mask, and get vaccinated. The campaign continues today, despite the weakening of the virus. According to the CDC, 1,494 Americans aged 0-18 years have died of COVID-19. That number pales in comparison to fentanyl poisonings. ...Despite deadly drugs being discovered in America’s school, and despite the fact that “opioids, largely fentanyl, are now the No. 1 killer of Americans aged 18-45 years old,” the Biden administration stubbornly insists on open borders.

Good News: 1776 Curriculum Is Taking Off - The battle for the minds of our children is difficult, but it is far from lost. -By Brian Mark Weber We've all heard of the New York Times's 1619 Project, the subsequent book, and the curriculum spreading throughout our schools. And we know the project is rife with errors, exaggerations, and outrageous claims that portray America's founding as fraudulent and inherently racist. ...Fortunately, people are finally starting to take note and reconnect with the miracle of 1776 that sparked a wave of freedom and prosperity that we all enjoy today.

     ...Hillsdale has launched the 1776 Curriculum to bring this education to students in elementary through high school. This didn't start as a knee-jerk reaction to woke history, though. Far from it. Hillsdale's The Collegian notes that the groundwork for the curriculum took place more than 40 years ago. The program is now being embraced and implemented in schools around the country. And the Leftmedia is taking note.

     ...But the Marxists and socialists who contributed to the 1619 Project do oppose the words in the Declaration because their vision for humanity requires subservience to a powerful elite, submission to tyranny, and a surrender of individual rights. Then, and only then, will they be able to build a "new" society that takes us back into the oppressive past.
